This item is clearly well made and sturdy. The lights are very bright and can be rotated from side to side or angled up and down, plus I really like the 77" height. My only complaint is that on my model at least, you can remove the detachable lights away from the top bar with a firm pull and without depressing the switch which unlocks them. Worried that I might accidentally knock the lights off the stand, I added Velcro ties, as in the picture. I also added ties to both lights for good measure, but that probably wasn't necessary. I'm well satisfied and would recommend this light to a friend.

Not gonna lie. Got 2 sets to combat a neighbor who would not adjust his outdoor lights. They were literally blinding me as I stepped outside. Not no more. No sir. Now his lights point where they should. These would also be good anywhere you need daylight.

I got two of these, a total of four lights, I guess this item is actually for two stands and four lights. Anyway, the lights, while not the brightest available, are very bright. The lights can be aimed independently, and the brightness adjustment is also separate for each light. In total, you get two stands, each with two lights and each light has independent brightness control.They are set up in my Wifes office which doubles as her painting studio. She likes the amount and color of the lights, and she can arrange them to reduce shadows when she is painting on large canvases.

I received this light and I noticed that the lower extension lock nut was broken. I contacted the seller and they said they would send a replacement. I assumed a replacement nut, I actually got a whole unit. The lights are bright and easy to set up. Makes body work so much easier.

I won't bore you with another installation video as I, myself, had referred to existing installation video. And, it's not too bad to follow.Overall, after 1 time setup, the lights are super bright, and adjustable height makes it more useful and can also change the direction of lights as well. The only extra I got in addition to the light is in-line On and Off switch (outdoor) as this setup does not have a built-in switch which was a shame. But it isn't a big deal as you can always find something like that elsewhere including at Amazon.

Have only used this once, so can't comment on longevity. I can say the lights themselves seem really well made and are incredibly bright. If you need more light than this, you're probably working in an airplane hanger. The removeable "light bar" is a nice feature . Unfortunately, the lights work better sitting on the ground than on the stand. The "bad list" is long in my opinion.1. No master on/off switch. The plug is the on/off switch.2. No separate on/off switches for the lights. Would be nice to able to turn one off.3. The top plate of the stand is a very loose slip fit into the top tube of the stand, which means the lights wobble back and forth. This is a non-issue indoors, but outdoors with wind, the entire light bar assembly wiggles back and forth 1" to each side. Hope you like weird shadows dancing around you while you try and work or relax outdoors.4. The neck of the top plate is plastic, so you can't weld it to the stand to get rid of the wiggle. Maybe epoxy/JB Weld would work?5. Cord is too short for a work light. Not expecting a 50-foot cord but15 feet or so should be the minimum.6. Quality control is lacking. On my unit, the top rotating cuff that clamps the tube in place was wedged against the screws that hold that miserable top plate on. I had to use a pair of Channel-loks to get it loose.On a $50 light I'd just shut up and deal with it, but this isn't a cheapie. Expected more. Should've looked at the pictures more closely or asked questions, but I was in a hurry and needed a bright, versatile light for an outdoor working weekend. I got a bright light at least.

Light stands arrived as promised. Light output is great. Didn't have one-off switches so installed my own. One of the lights fell over once and the frames around the lights bent very easy and one of the black screws in the center broke off. Company came right back to offer replacement parts within 2 days. Would. Buy again and recommend this company.

I purchased this light to illuminate the backyard for our 4th of July celebration. My husband also does construction work and I figured this light would come in handy for him eventually.this light was an awesome investment!it’s amazingly bright, I got nearly full coverage of my entire backyard. over 100 feet at least.It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver. Extremely versatile. The lamps adjust easily left, right and up and down.The stand also adjusts easily up-and-down and locks firmly in place to keep it sturdy.My husband has utilized it on a few of his jobs already. it’s compact design worked out greatTo get up a ladder and into an attic for some repair work. this light has already paid for itself.very happy with this purchase

It has an IP rating, which negates the unit from have on / off switches (i presume an IP rated switch would make the unit to expensive ?). I don't need an IP rated work light, but the other features made it attractive: tripod stand, adjustable height, high lumens output, swivel functions. A decent price. On the minus side, assembly instructions are useless; yes you can figure it out, but a quit playing with Mechano sets long ago. My time is important to me. The item that irked me the most was how wobbly the lamp head is on the tripod stand. It's secure, but I really don't care for idea that it is a flimsy part of an all around good product.

Nice, bright and lightweight. Unit does not get hot like older models. Only issue is it does not have a on/off switch on the unit. It requires unplugging to shut off.Revision: the seller contacted me regarding my review to advise that this product is now available with on/off switches. Very bright, very adjustable. First time I knocked it over a plastic part broke. The company asked for a couple pictures and replaced the entire thing. Outstanding customer service. I recommend this product.

I was impressed with the overall quality of the lamps. Aiming the lamps is easy and they live up to their billing on brightness. Assembly out of the box took just a few minutes. I found the tripod stand quite adequate in so far as strength. It should do well for most projects in my opinion. No, there is not an on/off switch but if that is something you really need, an inexpensive power bar with a switch will solve that issue.
