Not bad, not bad at all. Spec may not be on par with the likes of Tektronix etc, but it's close enough for general use. Well finished enclosure and without a trace of shoddy design. Highly recommended at the price.

I tested this scope with a sine wave generator and found the signal dropped at 200mhz. This is brilliant. Just what it says on the box. I have had all sorts of information and disinformation on oscilloscopes not reaching there advertised capabilities. Rigol is brilliant !!

I'm lost for words. For a few hundred pounds you can buy an oscilloscope that matches the heart's desire of every electronics hobbyist. It's got the lot. Two channels versus time, or X/Y for Lissajous figures, good range on both time and voltage, goes up to alarmingly high frequencies, measures every parameter you can imagine on a waveform, and being a storage oscilloscope, no problem with transients etc.; averaging of multiple shots, triggering in every way imaginable, and frequency analysis too, plus integration of the area under the signal, or differentiation for slope measurements. And a very good frequency counter too. It's really hard to think of anything this scope can't do. It feels quality too, sturdy and well-made, and yet it won't take up too much space. The enormous amount of functionality is all fairly accessible through well laid-out menus and front panel controls. Yes, with all that stuff going on, you're going to spend a few hours with the instructions (which are online, not in the box) working out how to use it. But it's all logically arranged. This really is a product that Rigol should be proud of.

Everything came as expected and well packaged. In Use - I bought this expecting a bandwidth of 200MHz as advertised but as with others I've tried there is a catch, others would not let me turn off 20MHz bandwidth limit and Rigol DS1202z-e won't allow turning off Sin(x)/x which is absolutely no good working with fast DAC's/Digital. I Contacted Rigol(EU) and they were quite responsive but with very unhelpful replies, the first being had I tried pressing the sin(x)/x button as an answer to asking why it would not turn off (first thing I tried! ) Email continued, trying to resolve the issue but to no avail, several emails later they suddenly stopped after my stating my logic process that led me to believe that the hardware would not handle anything above 10MHz with decent results. I've kept it as the cursor measurements etc. are things my old analogue scope could not do and I cant find anything in this price range that will do as stated BW wise.( Had it a few months now ) in short it wasn't a choice to keep it but defeat in finding something that did what it said it would. Also the supplied probes are as you'd imagine, great if you need a couple of expensive antennas. So overall if you only deal with analogue signals below 10MHz it would be ok but definitely not for high speed digital, I was at the start of equipment acquisition but Rigol won't see any more orders from me as their specifications can not be trusted.

Lo adquirí para sustituir mi antiguo siglent de 100 MHz. Funciona muy bien y con tremendas prestaciones, pudiendo hacer visibles señales mucho más allá de los 200 MHz. Se hechan de menos un par de prestaciones que absurdamente Rigol no ha incorporado y que vía software sería algo muy fácil de hacer. * Un salvapantallas que deje en negro el LCD tras un tiempo o con algo que se vaya moviendo. La pantalla siempre está encendida. * Una opción que permita visualización a pantalla completa. Es decir que podamos ampliar el área de pantalla al desactivar la barra de herramientas izquierda y derecha dejando a "full screen" la forma de onda con los valores seleccionados sobreexpuestos en la pantalla. Por lo demás está genial, todos los botones y perillas dan muy buena sensación y de calidad. Se agradece además que la pantalla sea mate antirreflejo, es muy bueno esto para un instrumento de laboratorio

Utilisé pour le loisir, en remplacement d'un bon vieux HAMEG 412. C'est vraiment très bon. La qualité graphique des signaux est parfaite. On fini par s'habituer aux nombreuses commandes, plutôt intuitives. L'affichage des mesures c'est top. Le seul petit défaut serait un leger bruit de ventilo. Mais pour le prix c'est vraiment excellent.

Das RIGOL-Oszilloskop vom Typ DS1202 ist ein ausgezeichnetes Gerät mit einem immensen Funktionsumfang und einen auch für den Privatbereich erschwinglichem Preis. Vorrangig würde ich es in den Entwicklungs- und Servicebereich des Mittelstandes verortern, aber auf Grund seiner erstklassigen technischen und mathematischen Funktionen ist es auch für den privaten Elektroniker (z.B. im Unruhestand ;-) ein phantastisches Spielzeug. Neben einem gelungen Gerätedesign und einer ausgezeichneten Bildqualtät sind es gut gekennzeichnete Grundbedienungskomplexe und perfekt belegte Softkeys, die die Arbeit mit diesem Gerät zur Freude werden lassen. An der Funktionsweise besonders beachtenswert ist u.a. die erstklassig Darstellung von seriellen Prozessorbussen als Bitfolge mit Decodierungen in ASCII, HEX oder Dezimal. Weiterhin überzeugt der interne Meßkopfabgleich, die neben der üblichen YT-Funktion vorhandene XY- und ROLL-Funktion der Horizontalablenkung, die die Darstellung von Lissajous und Sweeps erlaubt, sowie die ausgezeichneten mathematischen Funktionen, die jeden Ingenieur regelrecht zu begeistern verstehen. Neben der Verknüpfung beider Eingänge mit Arithmetik ist auch die Verknüpfung mit boolscher Algebra möglich, sowie die Darstellung von Integral-, Differential-, Logarithmus- und Expoenetialwerten. Ein „Schmankerl“ bildet schließlich die Fast-Fourrier-Transformation mit ihrer Darstellung im Frequenzbereich der Signale. Dabei ist aus 6 Fenstermöglichkeiten die Darstellung wählbar, darunter die bekannten Hanning- und Hammingfenster. Und das geht selbst im Decodiermodus einer UART-Signalübertragung ! Übrigens läßt sich der Bildschirm problemlos über ein gutes Dateimanagement intern oder auf Stick z.B. in JPEG-, TIFF- u.a. Formaten speichern und am PC original wieder darstellen.

Reçu dans le délai prévu il fonctionne très bien je l’ai contrôlé il m’a affiché 144,525 MHZ il fonctionne bien jusqu’à 200 MHZ
