Media Inspired Food Recipe Ideas
I admit that I actually preordered the kindlebook Feast of Fiction: Recipes Inspired by Tv, Movies, Games & Books by Jimmy Wong Ashley Adams by around the November 20, 2019 timeframe via Amazon from money made from my university/food service employment. There is a great number of a mix of recipes in this kindlebook to include: Home Brewed Super Porp (inspired by Adventure Time), Bantha Blue Milk (inspired by Star Wars), Heart Portion Sangria (Inspired by the Legend of Zelda), Savory Pumpkin Pasties (Inspired by the Harry Potter Series), Mini Pizzas (inspired by Back to the Future), Secret Spaghetti Sauce (Saved By the Bell), 8 Bit Cake (Inspired by Minecraft), Imagination Pie (inspired by Hook), how the idea of the Feast of Fiction was inspired on a Disneyland trip, the Feast of Fiction videos, and more.

Tasty, Easy to read, And grabs my Fan-girl Heart!
Got this on preorder on Kindle, and I want to say the format is really easy to follow! The first recipe we made was Bifur's apple tart and jam and it was SO GOOD. My husband made it and we were so surprised at how easy it was to do. Of course, we aren't experts and had spillage but the taste was so good! The blue milk was tasty too! Living in Florida, having been to Galaxy's edge, I can say with 100% confidence that it was better than the stuff they serve there! 10/10, will eat it all over and over again!

So excited to test out the recipes in this book!
I've been a huge fan of the Feast of Fiction YouTube channel for years now and I'm so glad that they created a cook book with some of my all-time favorite recipes they've made. The quality of the book is amazing and I love all of the photos alongside the recipes. There is a large variety of recipes to choose from, whether your having a large family gathering or a screening party with a couple of close friends. 10 out of 10 would recommend this book as a gift for anyone in your life who loves TV, movies, anime, or video games and wants to try out cooking while spending more time at home!!

Feast of Fiction is a fun cookbook. My daughter and I love watching the YouTube series and we’re excited to pick up this book! We have made a number of the recipes and they are fun and easy to follow. The baking essentials section I the back is a nice and helpful addition. Nice photography and fun pop culture references!

Awesome recipes from classic shows that can help you recreate iconic foods. Some recipes I was hoping for were not included in the book but the ones that were are more than enough. They are easy to follow and their YouTube channel has videoa to follow along as well. Can't wait to cook!

Very pretty, some good recipes
First thing first...I love cookbooks that have good photography. This book absolutely is lovely to look at. I also enjoy cookbooks that make references to pop culture or literature, so yet another pro for this book.My only problem with this book is it doesn’t have a lot of recipes that I actually want to make. Some are super excessive or just look like they will take forever to get going. Others are just...not interesting? Also, don’t slap me, but a lot of it is more snack-food or pub-food. Aka, mostly non-healthy, which is fine, but won’t work for general everyday meals. One recipe we LOVE in my family is the Squirrelmum Blackberry Apple cake (pg 169). My family has asked for me to make it not once, but TWICE! Very simple to make as well, turns out lovely! All in all, cute book. Probably not for the everyday though.

A creative book for a creative mind
This cookbook has it’s bases on the love of childhood cartoons. These recipes capture the heart of each cartoon, by adding a way to place yourself in the world of the cartoon. From the fun adventures of Finn and Jake to the legends of Zelda. Plus a chance to go where no one has gone before, weather be trekking trough the stars or participate in a war among the stars. All this just by experiencing a sample of what they eat and drink every day. Maybe some day these creative recipes will inspire the next generation of creative minds to make their own stories through the cartoon universe. Jimmy, Ashley thank you for being a creative people and kids at heart. Live long and prosper.
