Monster High 13 Wishes Lagoona Blue Doll

Beware this is a VERY detailed review. I got Lagoona Blue 13 wishes for Christmas. Lagoona has been my favorite MH doll since I figured out what MH was. The complexion on this doll is a darker blue than the original or the other versions. She has yellow hair with blue streaks in her bangs, purple eyebrows (sounds very strange but it looks great), green eyes, freckles that dance among her face, and turquoise/mint-green as a lip color. She comes with a diary, a turtle bracelet, dragonfly earrings, a fish and his tank, a pair of goggles, a removable flower clip, and a pair of just below the knees which can be removed. Her dress is nice and her shoes will fall off if not securely banded by the toe. I have noticed minor, and barely noticeable paint chips at her elbow. She is a great doll for play, customization, and collectors. Although her removable fins at the knees did nor last over 5 minutes past opening. THis was a disappointment but i didn't like them much anyway. Another thing I enjoy about Lagoona is her webbed fingers! Her hair comes in a pretty style and I recommend not taking it out. Overall I give Lagoona a 5 star review. :)

Love her!!! The box is in the best conditions I have ever received when ordering any other monster high doll! I was worried at first since she was very pricey and was released in 2013. She’s so beautiful!!! I wanted to get her years ago and wasn’t able to but after searching for her I finally found her in such great conditions!! Highly recommend!!

When previews for this Lagoona doll first came out, I didn't think I'd like her because of her new look and bright yellow hair, but the doll is lovely. I love how colorful she is, she really stands out and I think it's a great change for Lagoona. Her clothes are great and I love her pet fish in its fishbowl.

The doll arrived in good time. Everything that was supposed to be there was there and the box was un-damaged. There are a couple flaws in the paint on her arms around the fins, but no more than I would expect in a doll in this price category. The elbow joints seem like they might be loose because they take so much less effort to move than the shoulders, knees, and hips, but the elbows have held all the poses I've put them in so far. My only complaint is her hair. The "fishtail" bit at the end of the twist was just a gnarly, mashed oval covered with hair gel. I washed her hair in cold water, with a little bit of gentle laundry soap. The hair gel came out of her bangs just fine, but the rest of her hair still feels a little sticky. Also, her bangs are un-even and there were several too-long hairs in the rest of her hair. I had always planned on taking the hair out of the box hairstyle, so overall I am still very pleased with this doll.

If you are a Monster High fan that loves variation in design - then this is the doll for you! Lagoona is barely recognizable in her freshwater incarnation. This Lagoona has cerulean blue skin and day-glo easter egg yellow hair. In this version Lagoona has short bangs with a swatch of mint green, while the rest of her neon hair is styled into a unicorn twist that ends in a fish tail. Lagoona has green eyes, with purple brows and some fabulous bright mint green lipstick. If you missed out on the original Lagoona doll, now is a chance to collect her and her pet fish Neptuna. Neptuna is two shades of purple and her fishbowl is included as one of Lagoona's accessories. Other accessories include a pink flower for Lagoona's hair, a large face visor with a woodland pond theme, pink dragonfly earrings, pond/cattail themed high hell shoes and green turtle themed necklace and bracelet. Lagoona is wearing a mostly pink and black geo patterned mini dress with a teal/pink glitter one sleeved overlay. Besides her pet, this doll comes with her diary, a hairbrush and doll stand. I think collectors will be thrilled with this unusual doll, and will love the unique restyling of Lagoona - she really looks different and fresh.

The little "fins" on her legs come off (seemingly to allow easier changing of her clothes), and one of them was missing right out of the box. Her little jewelry was lost within the hour, not because we couldn't keep up with it, but because it is too loose and fell off of it's own accord. My daughter is happy with it, but disappointed that the pieces are already missing.

My daughter has recently gotten into the Monster High thing. For Christmas she asked specifically for this doll and it was pretty hard to find in stores so I turned to Amazon and here it was and what a great price. It was brand new and in perfect condition when it arrived and the packaging was top notch.

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter to add to her Monster High collection, and made her a very happy girl. She loves the color and style of this new Lagoona, and her pet piranha with the fish bowl purse are just adorable. When I went to buy this for her, found out that none of the stores in a 50 mile radius carried it. Went on Amazon, and boom, there it was. Purchased it here, along with Monster High 13 Wishes Party Lounge & Spectra Vondergeist Doll Playset , and Monster High: 13 Wishes movie, to add to her collection. She loves them all, and is the envy of all her friends.

Very pleased with this monster high doll and a very good find at such a low price! Quick delivery time and arrived three days after purchased. Very well detailed and has lovely accessories, too! My children were very excited when she came through the post and this is a great addition to our growing collection of the popular monster high series! !
