Works, but red T-taps don’t fit 24AWG sensor wires without modification
I bought this TICONN T-tap kit specifically because I needed the red T-taps for a car alarm sensor that uses 24 AWG wire. During installation, I realized the red T-taps do not make contact at all when crimped normally, the metal U-shaped blade is too wide for such thin wires. I found a simple solution by using needle-nose pliers to slightly compress the U-shaped metal contact before installing it. After this small adjustment, the connector made proper contact and worked as intended with the 24 AWG sensor wire. I’m sharing this to help others who may buy this kit and find that the red T-taps don’t work with thinner wires out of the box. With a small adjustment using needle-nose pliers, they can be made to work. I would add a video so you can see how I did it, a lot of technicians knows that tricks and auto repair and alarm installers its a simple trick and it works fenomenal

Good, but no heat shrink
Handy to have around, but the wire ends won't heat shrink for you. They'll catch on fire first. Not sure why they did it this way. Otherwise, good tho.

The Quickest Way to Tap Power (Great for Automotive)
These T Tap connectors are fantastic for quickly and reliably tapping into an existing wire without cutting or stripping it. They are a massive time-saver for automotive wiring (like adding lights, accessories, or running a dashcam). The connection is solid; you simply clamp it down, and the metal blade pierces the insulation. The spade connector locks in securely and doesn't pull out easily. This kit gives you all the sizes you need for different gauge wires. Essential for fast, non-permanent electrical modifications.

Wire Connector simple
I don't think is any more simpler that this connectors pick size of wire put in the connector clamp to it and done easy and affordable

Good connectors to use in the car for retrofits.
I used those connectors in my car when I have retrofitted the ambient light. It's working without any issues.

Time is money, and these require time and patience.
For starters, I typically use these to mock up projects before soldering. If you are doing a remote car starter install for example, these are handy to confirm everything is functioning correctly before making reliable solder connections. Pro's: The metal section of the taps connects to wires very well Con's: The taps themselves can require a bit of effort to close, sometimes they will deform before actually piercing the wire casing. This a quality consistency issue, as I tested several of these on one strand of wire, it was a 60/40 success rate. The spades like to pivot when crimped. I've tried several different types of crimpers... including hydraulic crimpers with the correct dies. If you are not paying attention, the spade will push to the side and not plug in to the tap. My biggest complaint... the insulation on the spade prevents the spade from fully inserting into the taps. Much force is needed to achieve the correct connection. Even then, I find on some occasions that they will easily come unplugged. I've had to briefly heat the insulation to have the spades correctly seat. Without doing this, I have found they will easily back out, especially in automotive applications. At this price point, they are not terrible for the average DIY'r however, if you are a "pro in a hurry" you will likely find these particular ones annoying and time consuming.
