Is the gourd 18/8 food grade stainless steel?

The product information says "product care instructions: machine wash, hand wash only" which is it? can i put it in the dishwasher?

It says it's double walled stainless steel. Normally those are hand wash only as changes in temperature (high heat of a dishwasher) can result in expansion or contraction of the stainless steel & potential breaks in the seams. if seams become compromised water can enter between the walls of the mug. My understanding is the same can happen if you put the tumbler/mug in the fridge. I have done both in the past with no issues, until I read why one shouldn't.Apparently the more often you do it, the more likely the seam can break.
