Lots of tools for the money, obviously not top quality, but still worked fine on aluminum.
I needed to make some new holes in an aluminum wall mount for a camera, they used M4 0.7 screws. When I got this kit, I was a bit skeptical since the tap for the M4 looked a little rough and inconsistent... the bigger taps looked better, but M4 is pretty small. But I gave it a go, using cutting oil, and it DID work to make holes my screws could go into! Keeping in mind I knew I was using these on aluminum, which is fairly soft as far as metals go. I would hesitate to use this on stainless steel or something harder, but for aluminum it worked out fine. The center punch it came with is nice, and overall it is very good value for the money. Tool quality is less than 5* but for what you get and the price, I'll give it 5*, this should not be compared to kits costing hundreds of dollars.

Works great. Cases suck.
Only getting 4 stars because the case these come in are soft, not sturdy. The pieces inside can fall out. Otherwise, they work great in the garage. When working on older cars, I prefer to chase the threads because of rust or corrosion. This kit does just that.

Great price and good quality
The case looks cheap and fragile, the die holder build quality looks low but does the job and is strong enough. All dies and taps are of good quality with a clear label on each item. Good value tools unless you value the case more than the tools.

A compromise for those who want to be prepared by having a broad assortment
I needed an M8x1.25 tap, and hated the thought of buying a single tap bit and subsequently losing it, only to have to buy another down the road. The cases work well enough to keep all your taps and dies organized and easy to find in a cluttered garage. Assortment is quite good for the price. I’m well aware you get what you pay for, and these probably won’t hold up to strenuous use, but they did work to repair a damaged steel stud in aluminum I had mostly drilled out. Be warned, the T handles that I received in this set were borderline worse than useless. They have so much play in them and no way to tighten with a cross bar. Even after using a set of vice-grips to tighten them down, they hopped around the tap mockingly and even became frozen in their bizarre, cocked alignment. Thankfully I own an old set of Irwin T handles that completed the job. Unfortunately, I now have to carry the Orion bit sets AND Irwin handles separately to any job I need them on, as the nicer handles do not fit in the supplied box. Bottom line, buy this set for occasional light duty work on a budget, and be prepared to buy a quality bit and die T handle from a name brand manufacturer at the same time. If you need to complete an expensive, tough repair, you should probably buy a single, high quality tap instead.
