Security Box Compatible with Bushnell Core Cameras (10220)

These boxes are meant for specific cameras, and that is good until you need to replace a discontinued model camera, but probably a one size fits all wouldn't work well at all. That just happened to me, so I have now had experience with two models of this box. Both are very well made. They fit perfectly and have withstood the attentions of a very inquisitive bear, or maybe a few different bears, many times. I have videos of the bear or bears clawing, nosing, and trying to chew on the boxes, but the cameras show no marks whatever, and in fact neither do the boxes. I haven't had one of these outside for more than a year, but they seem to withstand being wet very well. They do what they are supposed to do very well and look as though they will do that for a very long time; probably much longer than your camera will last.

There are some curious young black bears that frequently investigate the box. The camera videos it all, so I know they paw it, try to bite it and push it around, but they haven't done anything to the box or, importantly, the camera inside, that would indicate they'd been there. That seems to me what's most important, but I can also say that it's been outside for over a year and there's no rust and that it fits together perfectly. It's a pretty simple thing, but still it could have been done wrong and it wasn't.

These are great boxes. I did camo the box up with some Gorilla Tape in Mossy Oak which better hides the box. Tape some sticks with it and it's almost invisible. You can double lock these as well by getting either a long shank lock, or drilling a price of round stock. I lag these straight to a tree. This particular model I added a small pillow out of packaging plastic to tighten the camera in the box. That's because of how the camera is made. Anyhow, these are great boxes.

Case provides signifigant security over strapping a camera to a tree. I had some issues transmitting or sending signals so I used a cell booster. That being said, the signal problems could be due to my location or even the camera.Please note that you need to buy a tilt piece to manipulate the camera into different angles and a python-type lock to secure the case.

This box fits our camera perfectly! It has kept our camera safe in the woods for a couple of months. The quality is excellent and doesnt seem to be diminishing with exposure to the elements!

Sturdy construction, fits like a glove. Must get mounting screws and a cable lock. Worth protecting the investment in a game cam.
