Original Loose Powder Foundation SPF 15 - Powder Face Makeup with Added Sun Protection - Sheer to Full Coverage Foundation

I used Bare Minerals back in my late 20’s and love it. Not sure why I stopped. Probably to follow whatever makeup trends were happening at the time. As I have gotten older, my skin has become very sensitive and I developed rosacea - not horrible - but enough to be annoying. I hated the feel of any foundation or tinted moisturizer on my skin. But I was still searching for something that would give me a little bit more of a “polished” look. I stumbled across an ad for Bare Minerals and figured I would give it a try. I LOVE it! At 50 years old - no settling into fine line and wrinkles. It does not feel like I have anything on and does not irritate my skin at all. Plus it has amazing staying power! I tend to apply it on the light side for a more “natural” look - and it is great for evening my skin tone, blurring the imperfections, toning down the redness and giving me on overall polished look. And a little goes a long way. I would highly recommend!

This matches my very fair skin tone and hides all my skin imperfections. The luminous mineral veil creates an ethereal effect and the blush ties it all together with absolute perfection. Application is easy and this stuff lasts forever. I have slept with it on and woke up needing a few retouches 😌

I like the feeling you don't have anything on your face and that if you swirl the brush good it will cover your nose pores. Issue I had, since I have adult acne prone skin, it will not 100% cover certain blemishes. I did have to use my liquid foundation for those but it blended nicely. The only drawbacks are the price and how much you will use if you don't have perfect skin and it does get all over your counter since it is a powder so there is some waste (even though I tried to tap excess off). Even though I have oily skin, due to the brush action on your skin, it can dry it, so just something to be mindful of. And it did seem to keep the oil down, not completely, and looked nice but that's my life! I also bought another name brand I didn't like as well so I will stick with this. I do recommend but you have to dry different products for your particular situation and skin type.

I've been using bareMinerals powder foundation for close to a decade. I have very sensitive skin and have fluctuated between mild and moderate/severe acne so love how light and breathable it feels (never heavy or caked), but provides good coverage over my concealer for an even skintone for most of the day. I do sometimes need to reapply for the evening if I'm getting more dressed up, but prefer the how light it is for everyday, and this lasts me close to a year with daily application. I also appreciate that they have different color tones as I am very fair skinned but with pink tones and most brands have very yellow undertones for their lightest colors. I've used both the original and matte finishes but have not noticed a significant enough difference to have a strong preference between the two. I don't anticipate switching foundations until they discontinue this one.

My sister convinced me to get BareMinerals and bought me the starter kit. I've loved the stuff ever since! They have a redness covering powder that is yellow in color that works better than anything else I've ever tried to hide the red. The minerals aren't harsh on skin, and it just makes you look more put together. I give it a four because it is expensive (consider trying E.L.F. Mineral Foundation-- BM Fair = ELF Light, but the ELF is MUCH cheaper) and other products do compare, but this brand still works just a bit better. I would suggest using a primer underneath the foundation (as I would with any face powder) to get it to stick better for maximum coverage. Great product!

Best and only makeup for my entire life. Doesn't clog pores like liquids, doesn't look fake, rubs in, boosts my confidence... I would be their spokesperson if I could. BareMinerals is magic in a jar. Thank you for showing the world I can be beautiful

Could hardly get the plastic off and much smaller then I expected

Still a fan. Have been wearing BM for years and it has always done well for me. Have struggled to match my skin tone and this works for me by blending Fair 01 and Fair Ivory 01. Covers well, especially with PrimeTime put on beforehand.

Was advertised as matte, and I received original. I simply do not have time to go through Amazon's tedious return policy so I am stuck with this expensive and incorrect item due to false advertising. Thanks.
