Gillette Series After Shave Splash

Gillette Series Cool Wave is a great product—clean, refreshing, and reliably soothing after every shave. The scent is crisp without being overpowering, and it leaves your skin feeling cool, smooth, and comfortable. It’s a solid everyday aftershave that delivers both freshness and value.

If my memory serves, Gillette’s Cool Wave line launched in the early 90’s - I’m guessing in response to the popularity of Cool Water cologne (still a classic). I say that because, if you like Cool Water or similar “blue” type fragrances, this aftershave splash is for you. I’m also including that because, for a line that’s been around for about 30 years, until I ordered this here, I’ve never seen it in a store. I’d been using the Cool Wave aftershave gel - also a great, affordable product, but was looking for something with a little alcohol to give my face a “snappy” feeling instead of greasy. And brother, this stuff does exactly that! For less than six dollars, you get a generous bottle. It soothes my skin quickly, and has a pleasant, but not overwhelming, clean scent that lasts a few hours - and it doesn’t smell like an “old guy” fragrance. Most importantly, I don’t need to use a lot for it to be effective. This stuff could easily be mistaken for something much more expensive. Great mens after shave lotion at a good low price

I remember buying this at Walmart for under three dollars, but lately it’s becoming harder to find there. On Amazon, you often have to buy multiples just to qualify for shipping. It’s starting to feel a bit expensive, which is surprising for such a basic item. That said, the product itself is excellent. The quality is top-notch, and the mildly woody and spicy scent is captivating. It has a clean, refreshing, and slightly cool masculine aroma—never overpowering or sweet—making it perfect for everyday use. Simple but good. Feels light on skin. The scent seems a little strong at first but settles very well in less than a couple of minutes. Then I go about my day, no worries. Been using this for a long long time. I shave every other day and splashing the aftershave is what I forward to in the mornings. My wife always compliments me when I use it. People at my work stay close to me, I wonder why? Also, I am allergic to a lot of other skin products, but this has never bothered me.
