PNY CS900 250GB 2.5" SATA III Internal SSD

I used this SSD to upgrade an older Dell with an HDD. This worked perfectly. The Dell was bogging down and very slow to boot. I used the free program DIskGenious to do the transfer/clone, and once I put in the PNY CS900 in after the cloning, it booted in less than 1 minute and ran seamlessly. My desktop and apps were all there just like before only quick like a new computer.

Finally. This SSD works without issue for the EUFY HOMEBASE 3. It’s seen immediately. And then you just tap format. After 3 -5 minutes it’s done. I tried installing a Crucial SSD that I had from a few years ago. No good. Never was seen by the HB 3. Upon reading online Eufy only supports. 5 v at 1.2 amps. My old ssd was 5v 2.0 amps. No good. This PNY is perfect. As it’s 5 v at 1.0 amps just what I needed. And the price was great. 250 gigs is plenty for 4 cams. Overall I’m happy. Love using Amazon.

Considering the options, this one works quite well.

Definitely speeded up my Dell Inspiron 3737 laptop. Boot time was 1 min 20 secs, now about 20 seconds to password. No complaints. Small capacity, but I keep most of my data on an external data drive. I installed Linux Mint on it.

Great price, easy installation, seems to work OK with W11. Will test on Linux mint. Not sure about reliability- had an older one, that didn't last very long, so will see. Happy for now. Works OK for linux- Mint and Zorin seem to work well with this drive.

My HP Laptop has an internal battery, which I had to change due to a bloating issue. Obviously, I was not as careful as I should have been and damaged sectors on my hard drive. A few weeks after changing out the battery, I began experiencing crashes on my laptop, which had never happened in the past. Needless to say, I had to trash the hard drive and ordered this 250GB SSD to replace it. Once I replaced the hard drive with the new SSD, my laptop is running like a brand new laptop. This SSD drive is a lifesaver!!!

I was surprised because it was so light. When I opened it there was no box. Just bubble wrap and an Amazon Outlet checked sticker and tape. There was a scratch on the back but I decided to keep it because it was cheap for 250GB. I paid about 2100 yen, it is probably usually 3500 yen. Now I know why it was cheap! But I did not realise it was from the outlet when I bought it. I used it in a 2011 Macbook Pro. It is working well. Easy to format.
