Do you have to use the organic base also?

Generally, no. Organic base is designed to enable coarse and resistant beard follicles absorb color (Encountered mostly with the Black Beard dye). Very rare with the Brown Beard dye. Only use Organic Base if you have to.

Is it water proof? Can I work out and sweat with it?

Yes it is water and sweat proof. I put it on the night before then by morning it changes to full color. Color does not come off. If you don't do night before the color can appear different shades (can appear reddish brown or a greenish tint) until it changes over to its advertised color. No allergic reactions for me which I did have with Just for Men. I really like using this since no irritations and color is permanent and has to grow out.

What's the difference between this and the organic base? Which should I use to get rid of grey?

Use the Organic Base only if you need to. That is, if you have coarse and resistant follicles or want to control colour variations. The regular dye is to colour hair.Hope this helps! Cheers, Grizzly Team
