Total Mayhem: A Jonathan Grave Thriller, Book 11

Must read
I have always enjoyed the series, but as I have said before about Graves thrillers "I could not put it down" has never been more accurate for this book. Well planned out and executed. There is one issue and in this case half an issue, I always want or expect more when the bad guys get theirs and I normally left a little empty after pages of suspense build up to be let down by a weak ending. This time half true the two main villains one received what I would expect the other I would have wished for more of a confrontation and more of a he got his but it was still a fantastic work.Thank you and I look forward to the next book.

One of my favorite series!
Every year, I anxiously await the arrival of the next Jonathan Grave series book. I get very excited when release date comes, and then about 3 days later, I get depressed because I finish the book too fast, and realize that I have at least a year to wait for the next one.The characters are well developed and the story telling almost puts you right in the middle of the action. And the action is non-stop. I had a very difficult time putting this book down as the story just keeps pulling you in.Another fantastic read by Mr. Gilstrap. Now, anxiously awaiting the next book....

ALWAYS an exciting read!
Let me start by saying that Jonathan Grave and Big Guy are 2 of my favorite characters. The action and adventure are always with the read. I love Big Guy's sense of humor and his love of ALL things that go bang or boom. This storyline is so relevant and heartbreakingly possible. Mass shootings are now a part of the fabric of today's society, as there was another one this past weekend in Northern California at the Gilroy Garlic Festival. The scope of what Dig and Big Guy are up against is overwhelming and I'll never understand how John Gilstrap is able to create this world and then take us through step by step as the thread is found and then teased apart so that our good guys line on to fight another day.You will not regret reading this and all the others before it.

Angry, sick, USA-born mercenaries enjoy money and retribution
To highlight domestic terrorism, foment chaos across the USA, and ignite a civil war, a wealthy jihadist Al-Faisel exploits the financial problems of former commandos as well as highly placed Feds. Cleverly and sadistically, money pours in to empower these evil citizens. Connecting on the dark web, "Iceman" coordinates the angry mercenaries in project Retribution. FBI Director Rivers secretly invites the good guys, Security Solutions, to stop this invasion. Unfortunately, the Fisherman's Cove headquarters and staff of Security Solutions get pummeled before victory.

Another great read
Could not put this one down. One of the best John has written. The Story twists had me up and down different paths.

Still the best
For my money, Mr. Gilstrap's Digger Graves is the best action/thriller series out there. The characters are first rate, the plots are good, and the action is exciting. This one is about terrorism, and as is well understood, rooting it out will not be simple.

Dreadful nonsense
Very poorly written. Calling the FBI Director wolfie! What nonsense. That's the diminutive of wolf. A wolverine, which is her code name, is a type of weasel which is nothing like a wolf. The book is a grave disappointment if you will pardon the pun. I will not be reading anymore of this author's work as he seems to have started to write for 12 year olds. The dialogue in the book is puerile.

Another Great "Digger" Story
Pretty much non-stop from beginning to end. I always enjoy the series, and this was no different. My only question is that the one behind all of the mayhem, Al-Faisel, is not addressed at the end of the book, i.e., he's still out there. Perhaps it's for another book?

Terrorism comes close to home
Another excellent action packed thriller featuring Scorpion, Boxers, Gunslinger and Mother Hen. This time it is small town America which is under threat and there appears to be a traitor in their midst.

An edge of your seat nailbiter
As usual John Gilstrap has written a great action thriller and i enjoyed every minute of it. Normally i would have binge read this book in one sitting but this time i savoured his writing like it was a fine wine. This really made me appreciate his writing skills in both story line and imagination. I also liked the dialogue between all the characters and like No Mercy can see this being made into a movie.

Another great page turner
Somehow I don't feel that I am able to give a comment on this author who is so good at painting word pictures without hyperbole, unlike some writers that I read and do enjoy I never think "where was the editor when this book went by!". A great story, scary in the current climate that seems to breed lawlessness and terrorism. Much of it home grown unfortunately. Read it, you won't regret it.
