The BEST
The best ever boot. Had a chance to try them this winter. Continuously cold temps and snow, and continuously warm and toasty feet. Very comfortable and excellent traction on slippery grounds (ice, snow, etc). Very comfortable to walk. Doesn't get any better. -Go and buy a pair.2nd Review after less than two years of VERY LIGHT useAfter less than two years of very light use (Purchased in October 2016), the left boot starts falling apart (see pictures). Very, very disappointing quality. Would expect much better after paying premium price for a product that appeared to be first-line quality. I am very disappointed and will never buy this product again

WARNING! NOT A GOOD MICHIGAN WINTER BOOT!!Purchased in December and by January there are holes in several spots after normal work use and wear. They are not made to be worn daily or if you want to keep your feet dry.I worked in them on daily basis for about a month and a half and though they are comfortable, that 6 weeks of wearing was all it took for there to be separation at the seams and they do NOT keep my feet dry because of the holes where the seam separated. The bottom tread was VERY quickly worn through in several spots at the heel which also now let water and snow in.I am very disappointed because I had heard such good things about the Bogs. The price is NOT a good value for the quality.

Ladies! Great for Wide-Calf or Wide-Foot Women!
I am a woman with wide feet and wide calves, and after trying out almost every other winter boot on the market - these are finally what I settled on.1) These are 17" calves, so for those of you with wider calves who can't wear women's bogs - these will do you just fine. I wear 18-20" fashion wide-calf boots, but this stretchy 17" opening is just fine. I may even be able to tuck skinny jeans in.2) I normally would wear a men's size 7 (women's 9) in winter boots, but I tried these on at the store before purchasing, and a men's 8 was the only way to accommodate winter socks... so I suggest ordering a size up.3) These boots will be plenty warm if you are moving around- these aren't made for sitting still in cold weather. I wear them on my walk to and from the parking lot at work, wear them around running errands in the yucky weather... feet stay nice and toasty in these conditions.4) These boots were purchases for "urban winters". I live in Michigan, and it snows a lot. If I never left the country-areas, I would want cute light colored ski boots for fresh powder. Instead, I drive into an urban area for work everyday. There, it may have snowed a foot, but I don't have fresh white powder - I have inches deep grey/black slush speckled with unnaturally blue road salt to trudge through. These boots are perfect for that. They are waterproof, which is a must. They are black and don't stain... also helpful.Cons - These are only just wide enough for my wide feet. I wish they were even wider. I wear minimalist shoes during the summer months, and it feels bad to have the shoe encroaching on my foot - but I am also pretty spoiled by minimalist footwear. Also, I wish they made the women's boots in wide-calf and wide-foot, then I could buy cute colors and the toe area wouldn't be so clunky feeling. I have tried the women's version, and it has much sleeker styling.

Warmer and more sturdy than the classic high 60142 models
I've had two other pairs of Bogs that were -40 rated but didn't have the hand holds. These boots seem more insulated and definitely have more padding and a thicker sole. The downside is the tread pattern is not as aggressive. I bought this type because the rubber runs higher up on the boot and I'm hoping it will hold together longer as my older pairs started tearing away at the top of the rubber/neoprene interface at the front and back were the flexing occurs.I noticed these boots are harder to remove than the older ones as the tread doesn't stick out on the back of the heel and there isn't much to hook the toe of your other foot onto when you are using one foot to peel the boot off the other.I like Bogs for their comfort and lightness but I think they are overpriced unless bought on sale. This is my third pair in around '13. My kids wear them daily during the winter and will literally wear holes though them in a year. I think they should last longer but then they probably wouldn't be so light.I've also owned Muck boots and they were quite a bit heavier and not as comfortable.

The only winter boot you will ever need!
I love Bogs boots. I purchased the first couple of pairs for my children 8 years ago and never purchased a different brand of winter boots since then. My whole family wear Bogs during the cold New England winters and we never had any problem. They are warm and stay dry. I recommend them to all of my friends specially if they work outside during the winter. Great boots and worth every penny

Order one size larger!
These are great boots! Everyone is my ranching family wears Bogs brand boots BUT we all have to order one size larger than the size we take in all our other shoes and boots. This would include a (normally) size 13 mens, size 12 mens, size 8 mens, size 8 women, size 10 women, size 5 youth, and size 10 little kids. We ALL needed a size larger than what our other shoes and boots are. They are super warm, water proof and durable. We farm and raise livestock on our super muddy South Dakota ranch. We have been able to hand them down through two to three boys and they wear them Fall through Spring and sometimes in the Summer! My 80-year-old ranching father-in-law says these are the warmest boots he has ever had.

Love my Bogs
I always wore traditional lace up boots. A pain to get in and out of, and inevitably my feet got wet and cold.A dear friend showed me her Bogs and suggested I try them. I did -- and I'm in love with them. First they are extremely easy to get on and off, my feet sleep right in and out. Second, they are insulated so my feet stay warm. Finally, the only time my feet have gotten wet is when I sunk into a snow bank that went over the tops. However they dried out quickly and completely. Now I'm a Bog man for life.NOTE: Being boots, Bogs are a little oversized. I'm an 8 1/2 with very narrow feet. I ordered size 8. They fit well though I wear liner socks to prevent blisters on my heal.

Comfy and non-slip
Super-comfy, fit well and extremely non-slip. It'd be great if they were a bit higher because the cut-out 'handles' really make these more like ankle boots in terms of puddle depth you can stand in!

Shame because they looked good quality.
Tight on the toes and slack on the heel, so had to return them. Shame because they looked good quality.

Muck boots wore out so we tried a new brand.
Bought for a gift for my husband. He's very happy. Easy to get on and off. Comfortable and warm.
