Best sounding, great quality, low budget, professional drums
I bought this to add on to an open box clearance Yamaha stage custom birch cranberry red kit. I put gibraltar 2.3 mm drum hoops on both sides to ensure the drum staying in tune after reading many reviews that suggested that the 1.5 mm triple flanged hoops that are factory installed tend to go out of tune. I am on a low budget and I started playing acoustic drums and B20 alloy cymbals in 1969 and I have owned several DW collectors series maple kits and this is my first birch drum kit and they are incredible sounding and incredible quality for the price. I sincerely recommend these drums to any level of drummer. Thank you for reading.

Very nice, well-built quality toms.
Beautiful toms. I got the 10" & 12" nice sounding and came in mint new condition not a scratch to be found. I read that the Phillips head screws at the attachment is lose and not a bolt. That is incorrect, these have the Phillips head screw that go into a nut, not just screwed into the wood drum side. I did replace the heads with Remo Emperor on batter and Remo ambassador on the resonant.

Almost 5!
I wanted to give it 5 stars because the tom itself is great and sounds amazing, especially after I changed the head to an Evan’s UV2 coated head. But I guess the missing star goes to Amazon for lack of compatibility with “normal” 3/4” tubular mounting systems. I had to call Sweetwater and get an adapter to make it fit my Pearl Roadshow kit.

Beauty
Beautiful drum. Well packaged and speedy arrival. We rigged this small beauty to be a mini bass for my 3year old. Worked like a charm.
