How can you use them without touching the nasty toilet seat?

That is the purpose of buying these seat covers. You don’t touch the toilet seat.

How are they disposed of?

They are not flushable for they are made of plastic. You would have to dispose of them in a trash receptical.

iwill this fit an elongated seat?

I don't know, but the outside of the box states the following : Size 15.7 x 18.9 inches ; 40x48 cm; applicable for all sizes of toilet seats ( O type, U type and S type)
