These are great value and if you need to use a lot of glue in one sitting, these make it so easy because there's no need to keep inserting new sticks.They don't dry perfectly clear, more opaque but usually this doesn't matter because they are used to stick things down and at therefore hidden.I used one of them to completely fill a cracked handle on a paint roller and it did a great job of reinforcing the handle.These are going to last a long time.The only downside is that the glue gun is unbalanced when a new one is inserted into the back and storing the glue gun is more difficult. These aren't faults of the product, just considerations of moving from small sticks to these much larger ones.I'll be back in a few years when I need more! Highly recommended.

These glue sticks being extra long makes them far more usable for bigger projects where a lot of glueing is involved my son has been using them building model trains from board they have also been used around the house for countless tasks including making table decorations

I was making templates in 3.6mm plywood and needed a lot of glue. The long 300mm sticks were essential and made the gluing easier, as there was no need to keep loading the shorter glue sticks into the hot glue gun, which can be disruptive.I'll be using quite a lot of these longer glue sticks.
