Amazon Essentials Women's Classic-Fit Lightweight Long-Sleeve Sweater

I bought the black and camel rugby stripe color, and it's exactly what I was looking for. I'll actually be wearing it as part of my Halloween outfit, but it's versatile enough to wear all fall and winter. It's true to size and has a flattering fit without feeling bulky. Although it's listed as a sweater, I'd describe it more as a lightweight long-sleeve turtleneck shirt. It still provides a nice amount of warmth while being comfortable enough to layer under jackets or vests. I washed it on a gentle cycle and dried it on a low setting, and it came out looking great with no pilling or noticeable shrinkage. The fabric feels soft, the quality is good for the price, and it seems like it will hold up well with regular wear.

Very pleased with my light blue turtleneck sweater! Soft, fitted, lightweight, reasonably priced and perfect for spring, fall or layered during winter. Size XS had a fitted look on my 120 lb 5’2” frame. Upsize if you want a looser fit.

Nice sweater, but delivery packaging was terrible. The sweater is quite nice and absolutely true to size. Color is lovely and so is martial. I will likely buy more in other colors. I really like that the turtleneck is tall, doesn't sag, and is snug against my neck without being at all tight. I have not laundered it yet, do will update if it does not launder well. My one complaint is that it was delivered in a clear plastic bag with an address label stuck on it. No Amazon bag or box, no company packaging. It appears they just pulled it out of inventory in it's storage bag and stuck a label on it, so anyone could see exactly what I ordered. Not happy with that at all. I often buy gifts for our daughter and this would ruin any surprise. Star lost because of packaging.

I love these turtlenecks and have purchased them in several colors. All have arrived matching the color shown in the advertisements, are well made, fit nicely and have washed and worn fairly well. Not the best quality, but very good quality and well worth buying on sale.

Great turtleneck sweater! I got it for under a vest and it fits well, has a good material that isn't too heavy and isn't too light, and is very soft. The color also matches the photo perfectly

Really great price and I wanted to love it... Would be good as a base layer, but on its own the weave looks cheap, the turtleneck portion has no shape, and it made me look frumpy. I put a sweater over it (it's quite thin material) and the turtle neck portion just wouldn't drape nicely to complement the sweater. I am 5'2, about 108 pounds, 36D, and ordered an XS. It fit - just not nicely. There is plenty of room in the chest but no darts or shaping at all. It was plenty long and tucking into jeans was not an issue. Amazon basics are usually really great - this time it didn't work well for me. I ordered a black XS that is set to arrive tomorrow and am hoping that might fit better. These were ordered at the same and I wonder if the different colors originate from different vendors because they are arriving about a week apart? Anyway, the navy blue (the color wasn't even a rich navy blue) didn't cut it, even at the sale price of just over $14 with tax. I already returned the navy blue one (using While Foods' Amazon return - SO helpful). Update: The black one arrived and the outside of package noted XS and the label on the turtle neck notes it is a Medium. The weave on this black one is thicker and it feels like better quality. It's too big for me but since it is under a sweater, it might work. Not great quality control on the packaging and sizing. Thanks for reading and hope this helps.

The sage green color in photo doesn't do it justice. Color is actually a very pretty light aqua-y green shade. Still in its packaging, this top looked like an expensive silk sweater. On, even more so. Fabric is soft and good quality, turtle neck is comfortable and not tight. Sweater is airy and light, but not see through. The perfect layering piece. Length hits about 28" on me as I am abt 5'4" and large chested and i chose the XL. Which is my true top size and it fits fine, right where i need it to be. I was comfortable in this sweater in a 75 degree environment without getting too hot. It's not overly stretchy, so order your current size. As I am full-figured the upper arm sleeves fit snugly, but not tight; but the arm seam doesn't stretch so here's hoping it won't shrink. I will be ordering more colors, especially this same sage color. Good job Amazon! I highly recommend this sweater!

Amazon Essentials Women's Lightweight-Long-Sleeve-High Turtleneck Sweater in Black arrived today. The top was packaged in shrink wrap and then in an outer brown, paper bag. Upon removal, the sweater did not have any smell from the plastic packaging. Surprisingly, the sweater was not very wrinkled. I will wash this in cold water and hang dry. I purchased the XXL size. I am 5’ and 175#’s. The sweater fits close to the body but does not cling to this real women’s lumps and bumps. I am usually cold and will wear this high turtleneck sweater under a barn jacket or a jean jacket or a flannel button down shirt this Fall & Winter. The material is very soft and not at all scratchy when on the body. Black is a great neutral and the sweater can be dressed up with real or costume jewelry. It may be worn under a wool pea coat; short puffer jacket; a motorcycle jacket; long sweater; blazers; etc.. This will be a wardrobe staple in women of all ages wardrobes. The price is ultra competitive and I would urge you to try the Amazon Brand Fisherman's Sweater and the Cable Knit Sweater. For those in the Midwest or Up North or in countries with harsh winters- these turtleneck sweaters will become invaluable because they are so versatile. The price is great so buying a neutral and maybe a couple of colors on the Amazon Marketplace will be easy. These sweaters would make lovely gifts for the Holidays or a Fall/Winter Birthday or a Just because gift for that special someone in your life. Great quality and value and very versatile sweater.
