Does this have a belt clip?

This tape measure does not have a belt clip.

Why does the tape measure start at 1 inch, rather than 0?

The metal clip is exactly one inch, so when you attach it to something it is accurate. know it seems weird but when the teeth are folded down and you use it, it’s spot on.

does it have continueing inches?

i do not know. It never worked, threw it away, had a handy man look at it just because I did not want to throw it away, maybe I am missing something, but no, they said, throw it away. It would not retract.
