Sally HansenMiracle Gel Nail Polish, Shade Get Mod #789 with Shiny Top Coat and Matte Top Coat Trio

As someone who only stops biting my nails if their painted, getting gels was a saving grace but is such a faff. I love the fact these are as easy to do as a normal nail varnish and last really well. Obviously not as long as a formal gel but I'm convinced they don't make your nails as brittle so it's a good trade off. The colours are beautiful in this set and I love the fact the shiny or matte over coat give you double the options for each colour.

Could it last for a 14 day vacation for someone with super strong nails? Just might. I have crappy nails. They have always been thin and prone to peeling. Have also been told I have oily nail beds. Back in the day, acrylic nails would come loose in less than two weeks. Now I am 66, they also have ridges.Do I get 14 days of wear out of Sally Hansen Miracle Gel? No. I *DO* get far more wear out of it than *any* polish I have ever tired, nearly a week if I don’t have my hands in water a lot.Oh. Tried a bottle of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure because I fell in love with a color called Black and Blue. On me, it started chipping and peeling second day in. Going to put down a Miracle Gel base and top coat and see if it helps it last a bit longer.

Okay, so upon receiving this nail polish I was kind of disappointed because it was really thin & pale looking. The color in the bottle was a totally different shade than in the pictures. By this point I was a bit concerned lol BUT I read the directions & applied 2 coats, then the top coat like it says to do , and woilah it came out very bright, vibrant & beautiful! :) My nails STILL look gorgeous today (day 6) with no sign of chipping yet. This nail polish will actually crack before it chips, which says a lot about the strength of this stuff. My nails are so pretty & shiney & strong feeling, i love this stuff! I have stalked up on almost every color there is lol I read some of these other reviews before posting this & I understand why some ppl feel that way about this product. But my advice/suggestion is that you follow the directions exactly how they say & you will fall in love with this system like I did 😉😊

I primarily bought this for the gel top coat and I am not disappointed in ihe product. Thick, goes on smoothly, cures quickly and last forever. The real deal. The polish color is very thin, not what I would expect in a gel polish and is the blah-est of colors you could imagine. Might make for a classy base coat, after three applications, before applying a decorative sticker or wrap. But that is the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. Still a good deal for the set. It will not come in original packaging, but as two separate items if that matters to you.

I liked the ease of application and how quickly it dried. The top coat makes it very shiny! I'm not easy on my nails, I'm a hands on kind of girl, so I expected this to hold up better than it did. Two nails chipped after just two days of regular household chores....dishes, laundry, etc.

It lasts so much longer than regular nail polish. Doesnt start chipping for at least a week and I use my hands a lot for work, so very happy about that. And comes off easily with polish remover. Definitely my favorite.

Chips quickly and easily just like regular polish and when removing stains nails around edges and under nails. Looks very sloppy and cheap.

I was very interested in this product because I always have my nails done and with the pandemic I am avoiding "unnecessary" places. When it first arrived I had a heck of a time trying to get an even looking colored coat. As I used it again and again I think the answer to getting a good looking color coat is to apply at least 2 coats and let each coat dry completely before adding the next. With this light color I have used as many as 3 coats to get a nice covering. The topcoat is amazing. It smooths out the polish to give a nice even coat. Some of the reviews that I read complained about the polish chipping right away. I have found that I can get a week to 10 days out of it before I have to take it off and start again. This is a great product.

Very pretty in Dig Fig, lasts about a week with no chips and adds a bit of protection to nails. When removing, first round should be dedicated to removing shine, then another pass to remove colour. Lovely.

This nail polish definitely lasts longer than most others, so you may pay a bit more, but, in the end it will last longer and be a better value. This set gives you a beautiful neutral with the choice of finish, so the best of both worlds. I would definitely buy this again.

Great value for money , very gentle in my nails . Every time I use Sally Hansen my nails are very strong and healthy. Not so long wear for heavy duty dish washing :) , just 3-4 days. Overall really happy with this brand.
