So much for such a reasonable price!
Asus have excelled themselves in producing this motherboard. You get a whole lot of extras for a very reasonable price. USB 3.1 and M.2 slots, excellent audio and board layout. I don't use my computer for gaming, just my Open University studies and a very large and varied music library. Even so, I suspect that this board could cope with almost all that was thrown at it. I've bought an Intel i5 4690K and a Noctua NH-U14S Ultra Slim CPU cooler to go with this, an excellent combination. I expect to have this MB for a few years but when I need an upgrade I'll be buying an Asus motherboard!

Great once running - but VERY fussy about RAM
Proved very problematic to get it to start up without failing the RAM - pretty sure I wasn't unlucky enough to have 3 faulty sets of RAM in a row, and seen some other people with similar issues online, so looks like it's REALLY fussy about the RAM, I would not advise buying this unless you are going to use EXACTLY the model number of RAM as is detailed in their 'compatible memory' list - which is not very extensive.However once I got it running with my Corsair Vengeance RAM it has been brilliant, quiet, speedy, no issues.

Very nice board.
Very nice board with up to the minute features and very fast USB 3.1 connectivity. Dead easy to set up and no problems with software installation etc. Running mine with an i7 4790 , 2 x 8GB Kingston HyperX 1866 RAM, and HyperX 3K SSD - very pleased all round..

Works out of the box
Package arrived with almost no protections and the board was actually curved. It posted with four red lights but everything is working fine.It's a pretty good board at a good price but no great savings over 2015 6th gen products once the system is totally assembled.

Best/Great motherboard for your socket 1150 CPU.Works really well with my i5 5675CWorks much more reliably than an ASRock I tried.

Better than recent posts has been trouble free installation will not over clock yet as I need to install a different CPU at a later date. I wonder how that will work with free windows 10?
