ONE OF THE LIGHTEST AND STRONGEST OF IT´S KIND!Get convinced by our outstanding welding quality!Perfect for beginners and advanced welders!Compact and lightweight design with the greatest possible mobility!Important device elements:- MMA/ ARC- Stick: Can be used in almost all conditions and therefore MMA welding can be considered a universal process in the welding industry.- Anti- Stick: Shortly before the short circuit, the system releases the set maximum current, which prevents sticking and annealing of the electrode. In the case of sticking of the electrode to the workpiece, the welding current switches off. The electrode does not glow and is easily detached from the workpiece- Hotstart: Automatic voltage increase at startup for better welding results. Prevents the sticking of the stick electrode due to short-term superimposition of the set welding current and warms up the beginning of the weld faster- Fast cooling fan allows maximum power to be used and increases the duty cycle of the device- Overheating protection (O.C.) starts as soon as the device is overloaded. A yellow warning light comes on and goes out as soon as the device has cooled down again- Weldable materials: unalloyed, low and high alloyed steels, nickel based and copper alloys.- IGBT Technology benefits: Excellent performance, good transmission characteristics, high reverse voltage and robustness- Scope of delivery: earth cable/ electrode holder 5m, welding shield, stick electrodes set, chipping hammer, wire brushOutput current: 30-200 ADuty cycle: 30% by 200 A / 100% at 109 AElectrodes Ø: 1,5 - 4,00 mmSingle-board: 6 IGBT transistorsPower supply: 230 V AC (+-15%) / 1 ~ (single-phase)Frequency: 50/60 HzWeight: 2,7 kgDimensions: 280 x 115 x 220

Welding Mystery
I bought this welder elsewhere along with the necessary kit to do some welding. I have another but it's hiding in lock down from corona virus. A small pack of welding rods comes with the welder. Very nice thought I. Set things up switched on applied the rod to the job. Poof shutdown. Hmm. Checked fuse at the meter board, that's fine. I replaced the 13 amp in the plug, it's a euro plug with supplied adapter. Bingo up and running again. Got started poof again. Replaced fuse again and thought I have some old rods in the shed not as big but adequate for the job and it worked quite well. The bottom line is to weld with what I take to be 3.0 mm rods they say you must replace the supplied plug and it's friendly adapter with a UK plug with a 16 amp slow blow fuse. It has taken me a long time to find such a fuse let alone get it and I resent the fact that they knew it wouldn't work from the box with the free rods supplied. I have since discovered it is not a good idea to put a 16amp fuse in a UK plug. 'Whether or not it can be done, I cannot recommend it. By putting a 16A fuse in a UK domestic plug you are potentially overloading the cable (max for a UK domestic plug is 15A rated according to this pat testing website'
