The description is emphatic that this is "not a condiment."i wanted to drizzle this over my mozzarella & tomatoes, but how is it supposed to be used?

Our bottle arrived broken so we never got to use it. I bought one locally. My experience with all Balsamic Vinegar is that it can be used over mozzarella and tomatoes. My personal opinion is to disregard that statement. It’s not specific anyway.

Is it thick and not watery?

It is not watery and is slightly thicker. Also has the best flavor out of all the balsamic I have tried. This is the only kind I buy now.

Is this bought from Homegoods/Marshalls and resold?

I have only purchased the Ariston fig infused balsamic vinegar from Amazon. I have never seen this in any of Homegoods, Marshall’s or TJMaxx. I cannot answer the question about the traditional vinegar.
