Good set of bolts
Good set of bolts that I just installed on a fresh set of aluminum heads. The smaller head makes torquing easier. I don’t believe I’ll have any problems.

Worked fine for me.
Thankfully, I had no issue with this set following the standard procedures for the later model Vortec 880 block small block Chevrolet, using a low pre-torque amount then final tightening a specified amount of degrees, depending on the length of the bolt. I did apply Loctite 1158514 head bolt sealant in addition to whatever Fel-Pro installed as a sealant on the bolts that enter the water jacket simply because I don't trust that part to what Fel-Pro installed on these bolts as sealant, even though it likely would have never leaked had I not done so.

THESE ARE TTY BOLTS!!
These are TORQUE TO YIELD bolts, if you try and use these with the 25, 45 and 65 pattern they will not clamp the head properly and a compression leak WILL happen. DO NOT RETORQUE THE BOLTS, they lose clamping force, I did and now I have a compression leak, just go ARP for simplicity sake.

Good head bolts good price
These bolts have 1/2 inch heads which makes them more accessible the 5/8 heads. They also have sealant so you can just bolt them up. Felpro products are always top notch.
