Is the tallow packaged in plastic?

Hi Dee,Yes, it comes packaged in a plastic type 5, Polypropylene tub. It is microwave/dishwasher safe, reusable, fully recyclable and it does not leach harmful chemicals into foods or liquids. We are dedicated to providing natural food that actually promotes health and so a lot of research and thought went into choosing a container that would protect that food. All fats and oils are broken down by exposure to direct light and/or oxygen. The tubs are opaque to help protect from direct light and they seal under vacuum to help protect from oxygen (pressing down on the lid expels excess oxygen then seals preventing additional oxygen from entering).

Is this 100% grass fed and finished?
