5 Star camera, not sure what is wrong with others reviewing???
UPDATE 2 (1 year later). This is by far my favorite Tuya / Smartlife camera. I have purchased several. Like I said before, if wifi is out of range, use the PoE or get a bigger antenna for the camera. What I like most is the rock solid performance. I own 16 Tuya cameras now, and this INQMEGA brand seems to never fail, whereas some of the others need to be rebooted, or they lag, or worst they miss a recording and there is nothing for playback! I am buying more of these. Some negatives: the latest version I can't figure out how to disable the alert lights. Some black vinyl tape now covers them, problem solved. I also wish I could disable the floodlight. An improvement I would like to see would be for the camera to return to the original position once it finishes tracking a human. Still love the model and brand, A++. I added this to my Smartlife / Tuya app easily, just like I did my indoor cams by scanning the QR code with the camera that the ap generates when you click ADD_ CAMERA. No issues there, very easy setup. Update: I ordered a RP-SMA antenna relocation kit with a magnetic mounting base. Once I moved my antenna inside the garage through a 5/8" hole a drilled, all connection went away. Note: the 3 wires and together in a type of wire mount, so to make a hole big enough you need at minimum a 5/8" bit because one of them is as thick as a RJ45 8P8C end in a case. Better yet, get a 3/4" bit to be sure. Now, all my wires run inside, the signal is 90%, and the camera is now fast to operate. It has a good mounting plate, you can mount the plate first and then attach / hang the camera and tighten the screws to hold it in place, well thought out. I used the Wi-Fi, initially indoors. When I moved it outside, I think I exceeded or reach the limit of the distance. Since it uses a RP-SMA type antenna, I ordered an antenna relocation kit, and this might solve the issue. It has an ethernet port, and if needed I will just run an ethernet cable and go that route. I asked if it has PoE, not received an answer yet. If no PoE, I will get a PoE injector kit for 12 volts / 2amp and just use 2 cables to both power and run data. Looks like this will cost $30 since it requires 2 amps, which means I need a 24+ watt PoE injector (12v x 2 amp = 24-watt min). The AC adapter is rated at 12 volts / 2 amps. While I will nor deduct a star, the cable is almost 3/4 wide for the size of hole you have to drill. All 3 cables, the power, ethernet, and reset button are all setup together in a 3-way TEE coming off the back of the unit. This makes the hole you need larger than if they just had 3 separate wires. I ordered a 3/4 bit so I can drill a bigger hole and have all 3 cables enter the house for connections. The good news is you can run the wires through the mount so nothing sticks out on the outside of the house when you mount this, it will mount flush. For performance, the picture quality is much better than my 1080P 1MP & 2 MP cameras. With the lesser cameras I could not read a license plate, this has no problem doing that. The lights, tracking, and rotation work well. For the price, this is a real bargain. The siren and red/blue lights could be louder, but I am not really concerned or expect this camera to scare away and trespassers. I guess it would be good enough to let someone know they are being watched, so I assume this serves its purpose. The flood light is also average, but I already had super bright motion lights that are solar powered, so this does not matter to me. I knew this model was not solar powered, I think the description is clear on this, so why would another reviewer take off 1 star because it is not solar powered? Not hard to find the solar powered model of this camera if you want that? You can always get a 12v solar panel to power it and a battery, they sell kits for this trype of thing...

I bought two
This camera was easy to set-up via app. installation was a bit cumbersome, as one has to use a Phillip's and only the top screw is easy to get to on installation. I use an ice pick after drilling my holes to hold the top while I slowly got the bottom two screws in with an elbow Phillip's. the second one I attached the camera to a 1' x 6" x .75" piece of Flex-Seal coated oak board, then attached the board the house with 6 screws. That made it a breeze. I will probably mount all my cameras this way in the future regardless of screw location and the wood can always be colored to match any dรฉcor. I rated these cameras at 4 but would buy more for the price. Pretty good overall.

Picture quality is super, the zoom works great combined 12x. The night vision impressive.
This Solar wireless camera works great and has a very nice zoom. If you want a solar camera, there are limitations. Solar cameras are very conservative on battery use and are asleep until triggered and shut down even in app after so many minutes of inactivity. To save the battery charge. If you can live with that, then the camera is perfect and at an unbelievable price for a zoom camera at 12x 6mp. Its motion detection never misses, and the videos are beautiful! SW is the standard Ubox app.

Donโt waste your time, pain in the ass!
I must say I am extremely sadly disappointed in this camera, had to send it back. 1. Doesnโt come with SIM card, so no playbacks or video even recording unless it has a SIM card. 2. Repeatedly glitched out and would freeze up often. 3. Very minimal installation instructions however then are easy to follow I think Does not have the option for quad view, only allows me to view on camera at a time in order to zoom in Every time I zoomed in or out, it wouldnโt save my settings. It would always switch from HD to SD and I would always have to start over getting my camera system where I needed it, and it still turned out pixelated. Took forever to set up, but the image isnโt even that clear, getting my money back so I can invest in something better

Good security Camera
For a $50 security camera, this is absolutely a great product, I needed an extra security camera for my front yard and this cheap and easy to use security camera does everything I need. The camera emits an alarm sound and bright light when someone passes by, and also when that person moves. While recording with him, I can also shout through the camera to warn people who are coming. The pixels are also very good, and the video is quite clear. Even at night, I can see the surrounding environment very well.

Will work for informed user: long term may be a bit of a headache
June 2020 PTZ cameras? โ Ease of connection and power up.โ , SD cardโ realizing that setting this up at night when you're greener than a green ๐on the control wheel for PTZ....priceless!!! Not to worry, I'll be adding this to my brand new NVR multi channel system tomorrow. After all, that's what friends are for. Pictures of the ceiling, random feet, and inverted rooms are otherwise crisp. I will not confound any of you with the inverted, out of focus outdoor night vision pictures. I'll wait, to post pics after I teach myself how to focus these. Now where is my IT friend? 01/19/21 Only one of the two cameras I bought stays in focus. The other recently started putting itself on timeout by constantly facing the wall. No matter how many times you reset it.Requires a manual turn back to preselected area as I can no longer go to setting and select the presented monitoring area. Wake up in the am and it's at the wall again. What a pain. Lost rating for that. Interestingly, if I use 'their' cloud subscription this does not happen. Playback is easy from my SD card on the focused camera. Originally planned on adding more of this type Camera but I am no longer satisfied with this. I also experienced the fuzzy spot mentioned by others. On a whim I wiped the lenses with an alcohol swab and it cleared up so may work for you. Also my guy could not get this on my NVR but I know that others were successful in doing that. Update: 6/21 The alcohol swab worked to clear up the fuzzy spot. HOWEVER, the glitchy camera remains glitchy. Complete reset done. It has made the eaves it's own preset and turns there AT NIGHT! PTZ reset sends it spinning and then to the wall. Trying to send it to the preset you've set up is met with no response or a crystal clear view of the intersection. It has also now stopped tracking. One the flip side. The working one CONTINUES to work: tracking, going to presets, recording to SD and playback, which is a little laggy on the card.

Pleasantly Surprised
I have tried several security cameras in this price range and so far, this one has all of the other ones beat! I like the fact that it uses the TUYA/SmartLife apps. I have several smart devices that also use those apps and now I don't have to install yet another camera app just to use it. It was easy to install and set up and I have had zero connection issues with this camera. The others I have tried all had intermittent problems. This camera also offers an ethernet connection in case you need to use it beyond your WiFi range. The PTZ feature is smooth and the motion tracking is a real plus. The built-in floods help light things up at night as well. I installed an SD card that records 24/7 in case I need to review anything. You can also set up alerts in the app that will let you know if anyone approaches. I will probably be purchasing more of these cameras to replace some others as they fail. Thanks for reading and I hope this review is helpful!

Disappointed
I waited to do a full review 1. One of my cameras stop working and it's broken now 2. The auto track stopped working on the one camera and on the one that works . It will track then stay in that position. It won't go back to where I set it 3. It's not a wide-angle lens . You will have to put it far away to get a nice angle 4. The motion sensor is too sensitive. I adjusted to the lowest setting and it is still to sensitive. 5. I turned off audio detection but it will still record if a dog barks The good things are The picture quality is good Night vision is good
