Good business and motivational book written from a three principles perspective
I vacillated between 2 stars and 5 stars. In the end the book won over my resistance and I'm giving it five stars.I disliked all of Smart's "registered trademark" nonsense. See Kaj's review of this book for a comprehensive description of the problems behind this. But that aside, "Results" successfully skates the thin line between principles-based coaching and business self help. Smart mostly stays true to Sydney Banks' principles, avoiding facile "solutions" to problems and rather inspiring people to look in the direction of the principles for themselves. He missteps in a few places. For example, he describes the transformation of one client in the following terms "But when viewed through the lens of the CLARITY(R) Impact Model he realized something essential ...". This sounds a lot like the old additive approach, where the solution is outside of oneself in the form of a proprietary "lens" through which one can look at life. The principles is about removing lenses, not adding them. While Smart may draw from many sources, the book is his own and brings together well articulated principles-based insights around business, goals, and connection. Basically, it's a good business and motivational book written from a three principles perspective.I also think Smart is an important voice in the three principles community for his slightly more scientific approach to the spiritual principles behind life. It's nice to have this different perspective represented.

Results Delivered!
Jamie’s genius lies not just in his ability to offer a 100% solution to that most maddening of questions – why do I feel like this? - he also clearly demonstrates how a better understanding of how the human experience works can lead to much longed for improvement in any part of our lives. Each chapter builds on its predecessor to deepen the reader’s sense of this understanding, with Jamie using numerous stories and examples to demonstrate just how far and reaching and practical it is.The understanding is not just simple, it is universal in its implications and it is beautifully articulated by the author in a very impactful way.

A fresh, encouraging look at life, both personal and professional!
Smart has shown again how smart his new approach to understanding the inner life is. If you take just one idea after reading this valuable work, let it be this: The solution is subtractive rather than additive.

Delightful!
Just got the book (waited a while, was on pre-order) and only in a few pages - yet felt I had to come here and write a review about how much I am enjoying it thus far! I've already picked up a few nuggets of wisdom and believe that this will be one of my new favorite business books that I will recommend to clients and fellow entrepreneurs.

Have you ever been to a beach and written your name in the sand? Then, have you relaxed back, in the sun, and watched as the waves gently lapped the impression away and returned the sand to its smooth, original state? That is what reading the non-fiction title “Results,” by Jamie Smart, is like.It could be that this book will become part of a canon of classics in a generation’s time. One of those works that has helped to future-proof the way we interact with the world.Jamie uses the phrase VUCA to describe that world. It means “Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous,” which aptly describes the environment in which many of us survive. “Results” is a wonderfully soothing piece of work in the face of this outlook. And, best of all, you don’t have to do anything special to enjoy that release.“Results” is a difficult book to describe without hinting at the message. So, in that sense, I will not try. What I can say is that the book is written in a wonderfully straight-forward and friendly style. If you have ever encountered any audio or video of Jamie Smart, you will find that it is impossible to read the words without hearing the soft hug of his voice. It is, simply, a wonderful piece of work.To summarise, would I recommend this book? Yes. Without hesitation. I would not put the reader off its predecessor either, the classic “Clarity,” on which this work builds. In my experience, both books have a knack of finding you, at the moment when you are ready, so, if you are reading this, there is really only one decision to make. Please buy this book and thank yourself later for making such a great investment!

Results:Think Less Achieve More
This is an interesting and well written self help book which could help you to change your life in all areas. It concentrates on helping you to understand how your own thoughts help to create your own outer world. I think one of the most important points made in the book is that you can only become a victim of circumstances if you yourself make yourself a victim. You can choose how you react to anything. Not a new idea but if this book is written in a way which resonates with you then the book will help. The book includes many brief case histories to demonstrate the theories explained in the book as well as plenty of inspirational quotations from famous and not so famous individuals. It emphasises that you have everything you need to make a success of your life within yourself. Knowing your own strengths and weaknesses is of paramount importance in achieving what you want in your life. The book is all about identifying and clarifying what you want out of life both at work and in your home life.If this author's style appeals to you then you will find this book to be life changing as it gives you the tools to assess what you really want in life and to clarify it into its most basic form so that you don't become immersed in a welter of detail. If you enjoy reading self help books then this one is worth trying.

If you like reading the same thing over and over again, then this is your book.
I wish I’d read some of the 1* reviews before I bought this book.Whilst I understand what the author is saying, I feel the first 2/3rds of the book could have been summarised in 1 or 2 chapters. It’s too repetitive. It felt like I was reading the same thing over and over again which became quite boring. This book would have been okay if half the repetitive content had been edited out.PSAs a Marvel comic fan, I take exception to the fact that the author writes that the inspiration behind the Tony Stark Character is Elon Musk.Who came first? 🙄🙄

Just a sales pitch
Jamie's Clarity book was great. This one is terrible. He is just trying to sell his coaching and expensive retreats. Ignore this book. He is repeating himself anyway.

I love, love, love Jamie's writing style - I may be biased as I've attended many of Jamie's workshops. I'm so glad he's using his vast knowledge to help so many more people in the world. Heartily recommend this book - a MUST for anyone who possesses the ability to read!
