The Pentek Inline Filter System fits 1/4-" water lines. The filter uses Granular Activated Carbon to remove contaminants for up to 6 months.1/4" quick connect fittings for both inlet and outlet.

Beware, might be refurbished
Ordered 3 of these filters. One of the three only had one 1/4 sleeve (retention clip). Out of the two remaining, one only pumping out 28 oz of water per minute while the other was even worse. These are rated at 1 gallon per minute and I have excellent volume and PSI flow entering these filters for my stand alone drinking water faucet. All three came without packaging and were scuffed up as if they had been refurbished. In the past I have used this brand of filter and been very happy with the quality and the output. However this was the first time I purchased from this seller. I will try to return but we shall see if Amazon or the seller will take them back now that two of them have had water run through them. I can't trust that they are safe.

We need a refund on this item, not useable. WE do not want a replacement.

been using this element filter to prefilter my refrigerator because my area water gets a lot of calcium so my refrigerator filter will last longerchange once a year
