NOW Foods Supplements, Borage Oil 1000 mg with 240mg of GLA (Gamma Linolenic Acid), 120 Softgels

After seeing a video on youtube extolling the benefits of borage oil for acne sufferers I decided to give it a try. I've been battling acne since I was 12, so around 33 years. In that time I've tried just about everything over the counter and have been prescribed Retin A and tetracycline all having moderate to little effect and none with the exception of tetracycline doing anything to PREVENT new pimples from forming. That is until I started taking borage oil. Now I know everyone is different, but for me this was a game changer. I started noticing a clearer face within the first week, but blew it off as just being in between break outs. As the days went on I noticed that I hadn't gotten any new pimples. After 3 weeks I still hadn't had another breakout and my wife started noticing that I was much clearer as well. Not only was my face clearer, but I also hadn't gotten any new pimples on my back or chest area either. I do still have some tiny blackheads around the nostrils that are really only noticeable to me. With those blackheads the only thing I've been able to get rid of them with is the Biore strips. I have to say I'm just shocked at how effective it was for me. I had already resigned myself to just having to live with acne so when I picked this up I wasn't expecting much. What a different experience high school would've been if I had taken this stuff back then. Anyway, if you've tried everything and haven't had any luck then I'd definitely give this a go. For me it was life changing and I know that might sound like hyperbole, but when you've had acne for as long me, having a clear face is just that......life changing.

I have very dry skin. So I take a couple of gel caps daily. Takes 3 or 4 weeks for skin to feel softer. Works from inside out. Women say, My panty hose slide on easier! Is that a benefit for Softer Skin?

It's been awhile since I finished this bottle. But I do remember some of It's hype seemed true for me.Just ordered it again, I want to see if it will help my chronic TMJ inflammation & my skin/hair/nail quality again, and it is on sale!

I love that it’s 1,000mg of concentrated GLA. Price point is great and i like knowing that I’m getting quality Omega-6s. The pills are large but I haven’t had any issues swallowing. I would definitely recommend!
