Perfect for the new artist. Very smooth to draw with and blend. I love them.

But I ended up being surprisingly happy with my purchase. The charcoal is consistent high quality and these pencils can be sharpened in both a hand held sharpener and an electric sharpener - if you go slow. The various grades are helpful and the value is high given the cost. I’ve bought plenty of charcoal pencils hoping they would perform - most disappoint - these are an exception!

A fine product. I needed a pencil that I could paint over and not show through as a regular lead pencil does. These work fine, no bleed through, the lines are absorbed by the paint.

I purchased these for my daughter and she loves them. She used them the same day. Shes a beginner and this is her first time using these type of pencils. She said the soft pencils do not sharpen very well the lead falls out when she tries to use them. Other than that they are as described.

My girjs love the product. They do a lot of sketching and are happy with the pencils. You need a good sharpener though to get a good point on them.

I couldn’t be happier with these. I only wish I’d found them earlier. I wanted charcoal which was soft and medium, so many sets include lots of hard charcoal and I just never use it. They are easy to sharpen as well.

Most of the time when I used to do blending with other pencils it quite messy but in these charcoal pencils blending is way more easier

Very good pencils but medium and hard is too harder than soft so I will not use them a lot
