Shower Head Holder Handheld Shower Wand Bracket Adhesive Shower Wall Mount Holder Brass Shower Spray Holder Brushed Nickel, Drill Free Glue Installation

I had the plastic mount that came with my oxygenics showerhead. I wanted to get a shorter hose, and they are easily available, nice stainless ones, but they don't fit the oxygenics holder, which is too large. All other holders, like this one, are a 'standard' size. Most holders I found have the cradle attached to the shaft at 90-degrees, which severely limits the range of motion and allows moving the showerhead in nonsensical directions. This one is angled, which means the showerhead can be adjusted to point straight or downwards. It has a nice brushed stainless finish. The ball-mount holds firm and moves smoothly. Very nicely made. It can't be tightnened, but seems like it is well made and will stay put and not sag.It is provided with a mastic adhesive, which must be cured for 48 hours. Since the plastic showerwall was not attached to the wall, I found that the adhesive is not enough, so I drilled 2 holes in the corners, and screwed into the wall. Solid. I also applied silicone around the top edge, so no water could get in to loosen the glue. Very happy.

This is SO much better than the suction cup holder that came with my shower head. Omg. Not only will it not fall off and make a loud noise in the middle of the night, but it just feels so solid when using it. It’s also classy, and it adjusts easily, which my other holder did not do.I got two: one for the shower head itself, and another to put near the top of the shower to route the hose for the shower head, so it doesn’t bang against the faucet.Make sure you follow the instructions properly for applying the adhesive. It’s not complicated, but it’s also not your average adhesive. You have plenty of time to adjust the position before letting it set for a couple of days, which I definitely needed to do. It’s completely worth the wait; just use your old holder in the meantime. After the adhesive dries, it’s not difficult to remove excess around the edges.I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now, and I still feel a sense of satisfaction every time I put the shower head back in the holder, so much that I was inspired to come write this review. I’m so glad I got this thing.

This has held up GOOD and STRONG! Easy installation. I didn't think the adhesive would be as strong. It moves with the showerhead in the holder.

This item seams to be very good quality. It is solid metal and very durable. To adhere to the wall, it comes with a 2 part epoxy which is will have a stronger hold. Not difficult to use but can be messy if you’re not careful. I feel a 2 sided adhesive tape would be more than sufficient to support the weight.

This shower head holder is well made and is all metal vs plastic used in other holders. I particularly like the tight ball joint, as I have a heavy shower head and it will hold it in place. It has to be glued on and then held in place while it dries from 48 to 72 hours. It comes with light weight adhesive strips to hold it in place while the glue it drying, but I opted to hold it in place with duct tape (see attached picture). Now I know that when I peel off the duct tape in 72 hours, the shower head holder will be solidly adhered to my wall. I also found when I screwed of the cap on the tube of glue, I could not squeeze out any glue, so I just snipped off the top. The glue is light a paste, making it easy to work with and, even though it came with two tubes of glue, I only needed to use one. Be very careful to place the glue only where the pictured instructions tell you, as putting glue in the center of the adhesive plate will lock in the rotating ball. Also only put the glue on in small dabs, as too much glue will also lock up the ball rotating ball.

Here is the trick. Your mounting surface has to be cleaned with alcohol and make sure is not a porous surface. After you clean the area, Clean again! I use 91% Alcohol. This is my second succesful installation. Mark the area that you just cleaned twice. it has to be dry. add the glue as per instructions and hold it against the wall with the included sticker. they provide two. I only used one. Let it stay untouched for 72hrs. Not 24, not 48, leave it alone 72hours. That glue set rock solid. I am using them on both my bathrooms. Of course do one at a time. if your wall is not solid, meaning plastics of any kind that flex under pressure, chances are this is going to come off. I have a solid non-pourous walls and wow. perfect. One final thought. Make sure the dimensions match your shower heads. measure. I read some complaints that in my opinion were user errors or ignorance. Cant blame the manufacturer for those.

Bought this over a year ago and it’s still holding strong. I’m buying another one for another shower. This thing’s awesome!!!

Note: The wall glue will weaken if you leave the shower head installed when not taking a shower. The glue will weaken if you do this.. Otherwise this is an excellent additional shower head holder.
