Hayward SPX1500KA Seal Assembly with Cup Replacement for Select Hayward Power-Flo Pump Series

These were Genuine Hayward seals that came direct from Hayward and not a reseller. They came in a Hayward sealed bag with all Hayward packaging. They worked perfect on my 2018 Hayward Power Flo Matrix 1.5 HP pump. I was hoping these would be OEM Hayward and not some 3rd party knockoff. I installed these in my pump and they worked perfect. No more leaks.

Worked really good on my pool pump

The hardest part about buying this kit was figuring out if it would work on my particular pump. Yet in the course of the research, it became evident that it was, in fact, what I would need to fix my dripping seal. I had two pumps with leaking seals so I bought two kits and both worked.On one of my pumps, two of the long skinny bolts that go through the motor and attach the pump broke without much effort at all. They were corroded and so, stripped inside the housing which made removing the housing a non-option. That meant either just replacing the parts I could access and leave the seat/seal (the smooth surfaced part) or figuring out a way to get that seat out without removing the whole housing. I did manage the latter though I don't guarantee it for everyone.What I did was drive a flat, hook-shaped paint lid remover tool around the outside of the seat to catch the bottom edge. I noticed that the seat was more flexible than the housing so was not worried about breaking the housing. Once the hook caught that bottom edge, I attached the loop to a small chain that was attached in turn to the rafters in my cellar. Holding the pump and motor carefully and firmly while letting the motor drop, I let gravity do the work of popping out that outer seal seat, which it did on the first try.Putting everything back together was a cinch. Hope this might help someone else who has broken off those unforgivably flimsy motor bolts.

Ordered the one sold and shipped by amazon. Received a genuine Hayward part. Worked great, up and running in minutes. Easy to install. Paid double what the other sellers charge, but got prime 2 day shipping and an OEM part.

Fixed a power flo sp1592. Was leaking at the motor seal section throwing water into the motor casing and causing the motor to short out when powered on. Received a genuine hayward part and not a knock off like some people said they got instead of this part.The included instructions were not for this motor but a different motor, was useless and more instructions should have been included. The cup and o-ring were also useless for this model, wish there was a cheaper option so I could just get the motor seal and impeller seal without having to buy a kit of unneeded parts at a more expensive price.

Perfect fit & function for our Harward SP1580X15 PowerFlo pool pump.I needed to rebuild my pump due to a crack in the housing. During that time I decided to get all new guts (impeller, seals & o-rings). This was an exact fit, genuine Hayward part. Snug fit but allows for unimpeded movement.

It is not a Hayward labeled product. It is actually US Seal 2131. It will work and I’m sure it’s a quality item but I could have purchased it cheaper on Amazon if I was asking for a US seal 2131. Misleading seller information

I can't believe I almost replaced my whole pump. This kit had everything needed for a quick and easy repair.

I have an older pump and was glad to see replacement parts still available. There was a lot of disassembly of the pump to get to the seal but the parts were perfect. The pump manual provides a detailed procedure for replacement. I would recommend this item and would purchase from this supplier again.

Great value for the money. Very easy to use. The video provided on the purchase page walks you through the entire setup. Surprisingly very good imagery and video quality.
