EZ-Freeze Cereal on the Go (Colors May Vary)

This cute little container is absolutely perfect for taking cereal and milk with me to work. I add my cereal and fruit to the bowl on the top and my milk of choice to the bottom and I have everything I need for breakfast. The top "bowl" easily holds a half cup of cereal plus a half cup of fruit and the bottom holds about 4 oz of milk. Those who are complaining that it is too small are probably used to eating well over one serving of cereal. I am trying hard to keep my portions in control and this container helps me to do that. I usually just fill the container the night before and leave it in the fridge overnight because I eat it right after I arrive at work and don't want to have frozen milk. The milk is cold from the gel having been refrigerated. It is also great for carrying yogurt and fruit or cereal toppings to go with it. And there is no mess if you use it correctly. Remove the cereal lid, take out the spoon, unscrew the cereal bowl and place it on the inverted lid..then add your milk. Any milk that may have splashed onto the bottom of your bowl is not on your desk...it is in the lid. And for those who are concerned, I checked their website and this product is BPA free.

This is such a neat idea - I have been carrying a thermos of milk and a container of cereal to school for years, and I finally stumbled upon this gem. I put the bottom portion in the fridge, and pour some milk in in the morning before I leave. I tried putting it in the freezer like the directions suggest, but then my milk was actually a little frozen by the time I got to school, so fridge it is. I haven't found the container to leak. It is a little annoying to have to put the top under the cereal container - otherwise you will get milk on the surface you are eating on, but I can deal with that. Sometimes I do get drops of milk on the table. My only complaint is that it is a little bit small - I like a big bowl of cereal, and also the ratio of milk to cereal is a bit off for my tastes, but other people may like less milk in their cereal.

I purchased these not for cereal, but to make parfaits, with yogurt in the bottom, gel lined section and granola and fruit in the upper section. These are just the right size. The unit comes with a foldable spoon, which fits nicely in the top of the lid. The two distinct sections screw together. I haven't tried freezing them yet. They are easy to wash and easy to transport. They fit perfectly in the fridge. The only thing is that I did find them locally for a couple of dollars cheaper at a big box store after I placed this order. But not a big deal, I'll keep the extras. Also - you can't specify which color you want when ordering through Amazon (the order details just say that the color varies and they pick a color for you. The color options include: green, blue, purple & pink. If color selection isn't a big deal, then the color surprise is just fine. I will use these over and over!

I love this contraption! I haven't used for cereal just yet, but I've been taking with me yogurt and granola & fruits. I put the bottom part to freeze the night before, and in the morning pour some yogurt. When I go to eat it, the yogurt is almost to the point of freezing, even though I don't put it in the fridge when I get to the office. My boyfriend saw it and loved it too, so I'm getting a second one for him. Oh, one negative thing, or rather something I dont like, is the spoon. The spoon is foldable which is convinient, but trying to grab the granola to mix it after I pour the yogurt the spoon snaps. I ended up using a normal spoon. Update: I used it with milk and cereal, and I've noticed that the bottom part leaks. It's just a few drops, but enought to make me clean my whole bag. I have 2 of these and both have the same issue.

Was not impressed by how this product is built at all. Very cheap looking. Besides that the seal to prevent the milk from leaking does not work properly. I have milk spilled in my luck bag so many times I resorted to carrying it around. After a week of using t, I threw it out. Positive thing is that it does a good job of keeping the liquid cold when you freeze the bottom part first

I never write product reviews but I alway ready them when I am shopping so I thought I should write one on this. If you are a cereal lover like I am, you will love having this during the day. My only complaint is that it could hold a little more milk. For the price it is a cool little gadget. Mine fell over in my lunch box this morning and I thought I was going to have a soggy sandwhich but no problems. No leaks! Love it!

I was looking forward to this product, it had great reviews so I bought 3, one for each kid. Well EVERY time we use it, it leaks in the lunch container. I assemble it myself. Still leaks. Cannot be used if it will tip at all. The freeze part stays cool well enough and the serving size is ok for little ones.

I love this thing! I use it to take cereal to work. I have not had any problems with the milk leaking. Sometimes the milk gets slightly frozen, so I've started taking the container out of the freezer about 30 minutes before I leave for work and it stays cold but doesn't freeze the milk. The cereal compartment is a little bit small, but it's a good portion if you are trying to eat healthy. It holds about 1 cup of Cheerios, which seems small but it's the serving size on the box. I know that this thing is probably made for kids, but I've found it very handy. It is very easy to wash by hand so I can use it every day.
