A SHORT COURSE IN MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY 3E: .

I bought this book for my medical terminology class. This book is amazing in that it also teaches you about anatomy and physiology. I wish I would have learned basic terms by using this book before I took anatomy and physiology courses. Although I am taking the class for my nursing program, this book will be a wonderful way to be familiar with medical terminology. Also, this does not teach you memorize like you are studying Latin, instead this book guides you to understand the roots, prefixes, and suffixes. Finally, the website for this book has wonderful resources such as quizzes, tests, and fun games to retrieve your memory.

Highly informative book. Medical Terminology is needed in the medical field as all doctors and nurses uses the terminology. The book provides good practice questions and all the answers in the back to see if you got them right. It is a really helpful book in that it give good examples and descriptions of the terminology. In addition, they neatly organize all the different terminologies in charts which is good visually.

Absolutely LOVE the flash card function!!!Easy to use, easy to study anywhere, anytime.The book itself is an easy to read format. Material is presented well and the illustrations bring it home.I have the new digital version. The one thing I don't like is there is no information in the book referencing where to find the online pronunciation material. That would have made this book a 5 star + review.
