Q: What is the best way to clean this?

I would say spot clean with laundry detergent. I think it probably has instructions on it, but I am not where it is. I keep a waterproof mattress pad on it to avoid anything getting on it and I have not had any problems with it at all. It's a great buy and very comfortable, but I had to also get a bamboo mattress pad to wick away the heat generated from it. My husband had no problems with getting too warm, so it's probably just me. Good luck!

Q: Will this topper help soften my sleep? I'm currently stuck with a firm memory foam mattress that is causing me back pain. Will this help?

It will help, but this topper is not super soft. I had the same issue with a really firm memory foam mattress, and what worked best for me was a simple egg crate topper turned over so the bumps were facing down. I did not use a memory foam egg crate, just a regular foam one, and it worked great and was very inexpensive. I hope this helps.

Q: What is the life span before these toppers start breaking down and crumbling?

It's natural latex, it won't break down like foam. I have it for over 5 years and it still keep its form well. I bought expensive memory foam mattress and within a month, I could not sleep on it because it sagged in the wrong place. This is what saved me from having to spend a ton of money and get a new mattress.

Q: I need the king size. Does it have a glue seam down the middle? I read that the queen size does not.

King: No Seams -- At Ultimate Sleep, our Toppers are all one-piece with the single exception of the California King which is made from a Standard King by trimming 4" off the width and attaching it to the length.
