I ordered this Beater Blade back in June 2016 and have been using it for the past 4 years. I use my KitchenAid a lot more because I no longer have to stop and scrape the bowl. A few months ago, I was dumping ingredients in the mixer when I heard a "pop" sound. It was then that I realized that I had forgotten to defrost my butter. (I broke my plastic cookie dough blade for my Bosch mixer the same way, so I did know better). Even though the blade has a crack in it up at the top, I have continued to use it, and now I am looking to get a replacement. I use my Bosch mixer for large recipes, and my KitchenAid for smaller items because there are less pieces to wash. Pros: Attaches to the mixer just like the original Effectively scraps the bowl It is plastic, so it will brake instead of the mixer if the ingredients are too much for the mixer to handle Cons: Supper squeaky with the mixer is first starting up. It is plastic and can break The price has doubled since my first purchase 4 years ago The Chinese product that is comparable to this is half the price I have found that if I cover the silicone bade in butter before turning on the mixer, the squeaky noise subsides. Even though I have loved this blade and I need a new one, I'm not sure if it is worth the current cost of $30. The genuine Kitchenaid blade is listed at over $40 it is metal and only has the scraper on one side of it. I did purchase a Chinese product last week for $7.50 and the blade came without the scraper part on it. So, did I get what I paid for with that one, nope because it is unusable and I am trying to get the company to replace it.

Ordered this a couple of weeks ago and just used it yesterday for brownies. I was disappointed at first when I received this blade and attached it to my Pro 600 6 qt mixer just to see if it would fit. It seemed like it was too big because the beater touched the bottom of the bowl (bowl was adjusted properly). I turned it on and the beater turned just fine but did hit the sides of the bowl slightly. So, I put it away for a week or so before actually using it to make something. Yesterday, I tried using it to make brownies and it was GREAT! I discovered that with it being a beater blade and the purpose of it to eliminate having to scrape the bowl, it has to fit a little more snugly to do its job. Once you have food in there and the rubber scrapers get "lubed up" with whatever you're mixing, it works just great and does what it should - hits the bowl closely enough that you will not have to scrape the bowl at all! I made a double batch of brownies and did not have to scrape once! So, just give this little beater blade a chance. Others have also said that theirs have broken in places, but I think that is from using it for something that is just too thick. I think this will be great for thinner batters like: cakes, brownies, frostings, etc. I won't use it for thicker recipes like cookie dough, etc. So, just use common sense by not using it for any recipe that is too thick and expect it to fit a little more snugly so it can do its job and you'll love it!!

Another fine upgrade for our KitchenAid mixer. This blade virtually eliminates the need to stop the mixer and manually use a spatula to mix in the ingredients that are stuck to the sides of the mixing bowl. It fits perfectly and should save time and improve the mixing processes.

This thing is a workhorse! I have to say, mine just snapped in 2 places when I used it with some probably-too-cold butter, BUT I have had it and have been using it for 17 years, so I’m happy with that longevity.

Item came with a major crack in the bottom of the beater. If I had even gotten to use it one time it would have broken and ruined my dough. Luckily my hubby saw the crack before I unpacked it.

This paddle is wonderful. I have tried all kinds but this is the first one that actually worked for me.. It scraped the sides of my bowl appears to be a good quality paddle.. I washed it in the dishwasher on the top shelf and it did just fine I am so happy to find a paddle that actually worked. It fit my mixer and was so easy to put on. I put my mixer on high speed to see if it would still scrap the sides of my bowl and it worked great. II recommend this to anyone who is looking for a paddle that actually scrapes . I have the large kitchenaid mixer with the lift bowl.

Con questo accessorio non è più necessario utilizzare la spatola per "spostare" l'impasto nella ciotola della planetaria. Occorre però regolare la vite che si trova sotto la testa della kitchenaid in quanto non perfettamente identica in dimensioni alla foglia in dotazione. Non adatta a impasti troppo solidi perché è di plastica. La utilizzo comunque per impasti di torte, creme etc, la prima acquistata mi è durata più di 5 anni dopodiché ha iniziato a sbriciolarsi la parte in silicone e l'ho sostituita. Soddisfatta.

Gekauft, weil beim Original von Kitchenaid eine sehr hohe Bleibelastung in der Farbe nachgewiesen wurde, somit ging es gleich in den (Sonder)Muell. Bleifrei und genau so gut. Danke

La pieza no es metálica, es de plástico. La regulación de la altura del bol la tengo en la más alejada posible (pala vs bol). De momento, cumple su función

Vale la pena, mucho más barata que la kitchenaid. Te ayuda a no tener que estar raspando la espátula en el bowl al momento de hacer masas. Buena calidad
