Basher Science: Microbiology

My youngest (6years old) wanted a science book like his older siblings (they both love the periodic table) so he chose microbiology from the many options. The content is well organized and categorized. The cartoons of all the virus and bacteria make learning micro and some virology fun! My youngest is so fascinated with the microscopic germs and how they affect our body (positively and detrimentally). Highly recommend this for your future microbiologist!

The Basher book series is a great way for a child to explore different areas of learning. The Microbiology is one of my son’s favorites. He is now 8 and has almost the whole collection of Basher books.

This is the cutest most informative kid book! I bought it as a gift, but you can bet once my kid learns to read.... Ill be getting bunch of the books from this author. Love them! Has an image on every page, it would intrigue lil ones from young age. Not boring at all. Get it.

My son is 8 year old and has been hooked on the Basher book series for 3 years. He was carrying 3 or 4 them around in a backpack, everywhere he went when he first got them. We just got Microbiology, and once again, he is captivated. The layout of the materials and the illustrations make these books understandable and interesting to young minds. I highly recommend these books. Do not be afraid to buy them for children younger than recommended. They will love them, and strive to take in all they can! Thank you Basher!

This was a birthday gift for my 6-year old great-nephew. He loves it! He stopped opening the other gifts to look at this (he's not quite reading yet, but he's only in kindergarten). His mom packed his presents in a box, and he took the book out several times. He asked his dad for another one. He'll be getting more from me.

My grandson loves the Basher books. He reads them over and over. Bringing life to the material through characterization is awesome. Would highly recommend the series to any child interested in science.

These Basher Science books are super great for a classroom library. I teach 4th graders, they love the half dozen or so of these books that we have. I do a little preview and the kids are hooked! Gotta love it when they don't realize they are even learning.

These books are just the best thing that has happened to our homeschooling house this year. I have a nine year old who is very "character" focused, and he can't get enough of these books. I am amazed by what he retains from these brief descriptions. For kids who like video games, and graphic novels, I highly recommend any of these books. We bought them all.

I can’t say enough about this series of books. They are concise and creative which makes learning something so complex easy and fun. My son started getting addicted to reading these when he was 9. I learnt a lot too. So awesome!

I bought darned near the whole series for my 8 YO and he LOVES them. So do I! If I had these when I was in school... Sigh. While none of these books are comprehensive (nor do they pretend to be)... they are wonderful overviews with great illustrations (and mnemonics). Honestly, all of us enjoy these books.

Excellent classroom resource for upper elementary/middle school students; might work for high school as well. This would make a great addition to any classroom library. Great visuals and good language that will be easy for English Language Learners and lower-level readers to understand.

I have been collecting all the Basher books for the past 20yrs. Gret first read, and also readable cover to cover. Great way to keep the fun for learning
