how often can i use this product? it works wonders...

I use the product every three days until the algae blooms are under control, and then I use it once a week thereafter. In hot weather, I have to go back to the first plan -- every three days. That type of use has not harmed the snails, fish, turtle, or frogs in the pond, but it does zap the algae quite well. I hope this helps. Oh, I put it in the pond in the early mornings, not when the sun is roasting. We are reaching 107 degrees here right now. I also insert the product where the stream flows into the pond so that the mix is dispersed quickly. I mix it in a small bucket of water before pouring it in the pond.

Is it safe for water fowl, ex. duck, egrets?

It is toxic if not diluted; use as directed and mix in water in a container before adding to pond then is safe for anything!

What will work in a water feature with two pumps, flow and two waterfalls. About 1000 gallons. Algae grows on the rocks.

The best thing I have used is algaefix. Follow the directions on the bottle. I use it about once every week to keep my 3000 gallon clean.....

is this safe for birds?

I use this product 1x/week in summer. The fish need an extra oxygen source while this kills algae, for first 24 hrs after adding to water I make a point of keep filter on AND running fountain for O2 source. The fish all move to directly under the return line within an hour after treatment. Safe to koi, goldfish, pond turtles, the lizards and a crow.. have all survived a dip in treated water. Also, savvy pond shop guy told that once algae is under control, cut back on dosage and see how much you can decrease recommended treatment amount while still algae free, we can go from 1.75 cup to 1.15m so maintainence is @ 30% less.
