There is not a handle on this case since the top is what lifts up to put the machine into the bag.

Is there a mesh opening on the front & both sides of th bag?

Yes there is mesh on both sides of the bag. It’s just like the original. Very nice and sturdy. My husband is very happy with it.

Does the case fit Innogen 5G with double battery?

The G5 carry bag is designed to fit both the single and double battery. One at a time, of course, it does not have storage space to carry an extra battery, but whichever battery size is attached to the device it will indeed fit in the carry bag.

Would this work for the G4? It's so nice looking.

No it does not fit the G4. It only works with Inogen G5 systems.

Changes with carry bag.

There are a couple changes from the original carry bag that I do not like. The bottom of the bag has a small square piece of padding on each side that makes it difficult to set bag down without falling over. The way the emblem is sewn on front pouch pretty much makes the pouch useless. Considering returning and finding a different carry bag.
