This is really an excellent book on the lessons to be derived from the various events in the sirah, or the biography of the Prophet Muhammad, may peace and blessing sbe upon him. The shaykh is not apologetic and explains things in a very clear manner.The translation is great, but the publishing quality could be improved.Shaykh al Buti only gives an overview of the historical events and spends more time writing about the actual lessons to be derived from them. I recommend reading Muhammad: His Life Based on the Earliest Sources by Martin Lings [ISBN: 1594771537] first.
