Nine West Women's Goalie Synthetic Ballet Flat

I just bought a second pair of these shoes after 6 months with my original pair. The original pair are still in good condition - just stinky from wearing them without socks - the toes are in great condition. The shoes feel small when i first wear them, takes a few days to break them in. They are well- built shoes.

They served the purpose I bought them for but they are extremely tight and leave bruises and blisters even if I wear them for just an hour or two. I ordered them last minute so there was no time to return for a different size. I definitely suggest ordering a whole size bigger. If I had ordered the correct size they would have been a pretty decent shoe. On the bright side I rarely have to dress up and I'm pleased to have saved so much money buying these instead of Tieks so I can't really complain.

Well, I am going to lead with the fact that the shoes arrive in new condition but covered in dog hair. Or maybe it was cat hair. The soles were covered with small black hairs. More hair in the box. Grossed out yet? They were still new and unscuffed, so presumably someone returned them after briefly trying them on in a house with lots of pet hair. And no one inspected them. (I have not allowed this to influence my star rating at all, but you should definitely inspect shoes as soon as they arrive!) I did try them on for the sake of review. I like the slightly squared to front. The pink is more of salmon pink. They are mostly comfortable, but less comfortable than most Nine West shoes. I wear a 5 and it's one of the few brands that consistently make my size at a reasonable price point (and I have a pretty good idea of what to expect from them in terms of fit), so it's a brand I shop with often. I find most Nine West to be wearably wide (a little too wide for me, yet wearably so). This is probably a truer average width, but ironically they look wide. Or perhaps I should say they make my food look wide. The low profile of the shoe all around makes a lot of "foot" show and makes my feet (which are pretty average) look wide (to me). However, fit-wise, they are good in the width. The heel area is another matter. Not comfy. I find most Nine West comfortable, but my experience is that they cannot do a pair with an elasticizes heel area with any comfort at all. I've bought probably 4 pair of that variety and all have cut into my heels. The elastic is tight and the heel is too high (show companies should scale down that height for smaller feet instead of making us wear uncomfortable shoes; but the shoe industry doesn't care about people with small feet, as evidenced by the nearly nonexistent shoe choices). They are a true size five but the tightness/position/height of the back of the heel is a BLISTERMANIA. Crazy uncomfortable . Probably wearable for a few hour but not beyond.

I should have ordered a larger size for a more comfortable length fit.

The toe is not round, it's square-ish. The material is really tight and does not give, so they're not comfortable. I even exchanged them for a bigger size but that didn't make them wearable. I know these are synthetic, but it was almost like wearing hard plastic. I returned them and went with Hush Puppies which are totally comfortable and cute.

Sooo uncomfortable! Very stiff and sides are high and hit my ankle bone. Returning.

Slightly small. But very cute. Love the shade of gold.

The elastic makes them very tight. I am trying to stretch them since I do not have time to order a larger pair before the event I purchased them for. Other than that really like the look and they are true to color. If they are too painful I have a backup pair that said they were silver but are actually pewter.
