Kangaroo 14oz Liquid Latex SFX Makeup for Skin – Professional Latex Paint

Very nice, about an hour to dry with a decent layer, the dried pieces take well to makeup for color correcing. The smell was not as bad as I thought it was going to be, like it smells pretty bad at first give it a good mix and like it vent out a bit and it turns more of the latex gloves smell but take my word with a hint of salt I am a vulture cultureist and I have smelled more rot then most.

I bought this product along with the "I Can't Believe It's Not Blood" product in order to do a special video project for my channel. We wanted to make a horror skit/short film for our YouTube channel and it is coming along nicely and it is all due to these 2 products. However, the Monster Liquid Latex in particular here is the main base for all of it. So let me tell you guys about it. First, I was looking all over for something that was cheap but could also be used an FX type makeup so we can do our video stuff. Eventually I found this product, I loved the low price, and due to all of the amazing reviews it helped motivate my opinion into purchasing this product. When, I first got the Liquid Latex, however, I had to keep it in on my shelf for the past few weeks since we weren't working on the video until the past couple days, but let's just say this first; it's amazing. When we first opened up the Liquid Latex for application we were shocked at how nice it actually is. I never used Liquid Latex products at all before, but it seem to be just like I expected. To me, it kind of has a similar consistency to Rubber Cement but slightly less thick. The latex goes on the desired area nicely (I recommend using a brush) and it dries quickly enough to apply more layers for a thicker "skin" for all of your creative ideas for it. We, however, were using it mostly to do the face on our antagonist in our video, and after about 20-30 minutes we got it to were we wanted it on our dear friend who plays the role (sorry, no pictures :( ). He expressed that he had no irritation or itchiness from the latex, although, after about a couple hours of filming, his only complaint was that it felt weird because it wasn't his normal face. Anyway, overall this product this is amazing, especially if you are filming a short film or experimenting with design. Pros: -Applies easily. -No irritation or itching (us, anyway) -Lasts until you wash off. -Easy to mold. -Great for photography and short film purposes (we think it would be great for Halloween too) Cons: -Anyone who is allergic to latex cannot use this amazing product. Once again, I hope this review helps those of you who are considering this product. Trust me, I was looking at those jars of that rub on fake skin stuff and everything, but let me tell you, if you really want something to do it's job then this for you. Plus, it works perfectly with other FX products such as fake blood and more. Thanks for your time and I hope this helps.

First time using this brand and have been using liquid latex for 10+ year and this is one of the THICKEST ones I’ve come across. Was worried that it was cured inside for some reason during transit, but not it’s just stupid thick, making it hard to get out of the bottle. That being said it’s not bad, feel like I used a bit more than normal due to it being thicker but it gets the job done, probably would be better used for molds due to being so thick vs building up pieces.

Like many other reviews, I also got a rancid, chunky, ruined bottle. It STINKS. It smells unsafe to breathe. They use ammonia as a preservative, and my nose BURNS.

Just what I needed and st a great price.

This is a great product at a reasonable price. It may be a bit clumpy when first opened so be sure to shake well then shake well again. Also liquid latex can be dilluted for application using either ammonia or distilled water. I highly recommend small amounts of ammonia - it worked very well for the type of application I used which was klingon ridges. After dilluting with the ammonia it went on in nice light coats onto my clay sculpture until I got the desired thickness for my prosthetic.

Decent Product but Packaging and Pricing Disappointments I tried out Kangaroo's Halloween Makeup Monster Liquid Latex, and while the product itself was quite decent, I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed due to a couple of factors. Pricing should be competitive, and I didn't feel this product justified the cost, especially when I found better deals nearby. In summary, Kangaroo's Halloween Makeup Monster Liquid Latex is a decent product for special effects makeup, but the packaging issues and pricing concerns detract from the overall experience. It's not a bad choice if you can't find a local alternative, but for those who can, you might want to explore your options. A bit of extra care in packaging and competitive pricing would make this product a more appealing choice.

awful smell cant be used for your face, it's unbearable though it does work (

I've been using it for painting nails and it works great. I poured it into an old nail polish bottle I cleaned out and it is perfect for brushing over the skin around my nails. It comes off in one sheet without tearing most of the time, and it's nice and thin so it dries in only a couple minutes. The only thing to watch out for is to not stick your fingers with the latex together, because the latex sticks to itself. It smells a little funky too.

Es un muy buen producto, seca rápido y puedes hacer buenos efectos especiales de cortadas y quemaduras, lo único no tan bueno es que obviamente por sus componentes el olor (a amoniaco)puede ser un poco molesto, pero una vez qeu se seca este disminuye y se puede usar con comodidad. Tiene una buena textura, eso sí, si vas a usar un pincel o brocha para aplicarlo, prepárate para tirarlo, porque quedará inservible, así que no uses uno caro. Sí lo recomiendo.
