Expiration Date : 36 months since open the cap.Same brand color gel + top&base coats = best choice.**EASY APPLICATION:** 1. Remove the cuticle, trim the edge, polish your nails and make sure they are dry and clean. 2. Apply base coat - cure with LED or UV lamp. (UV lamp for 1 min, LED lamp for 30 secs) -It is normal for a base coat keep stick after curing- 3. Apply 1st thin coat of polish - cure. (UV lamp for 2 mins, LED lamp for 30-60 secs) 4. Apply 2nd thin coat of polish - cure. (UV lamp for 2 mins, LED lamp for 30-60 secs) -- Apply 3rd coat if necessary. 5. Apply top coat - cure. (UV lamp for 2 mins, LED lamp for 30-60 secs) 6. Wipe nails with rubbing alcohol to remove residue. HOW TO REMOVE: Step 1: Soak cotton pad with acetone. Step 2: Wrap around each nail with tin foil leave for approx. 10 minutes, check if ready if not leave a few minutes more. Step 3: Use an orange stick or a cuticle pushier to remove softened gel. Peel off easily? 1. Remember to cap the nail edge when we apply the color gel. 2. Remove the cuticle, trim the edge, polish your nails and make sure they are dry and clean. 3. We can not have the polish attached to skin or cuticle otherwise it will be easy to peel off. 4. Do not apply overmuch base coat or top coat and, the thinner, the better, or it will get the gel shrunk and peeled off. Not dry? Please check the wattage of your lamp. Are you only curing for 30 seconds? We suggest: Base coat cured for 30 secs. Gel polish each coat - 60 secs. Top coat - 60 secs. Wipe with alcohol cotton ball. Too Thick? Applying every thin coat is the key , make sure the brush don't have too much on it before starting the strokes.

Excellent at-home gel polish
Love it. Wow. Nine months ago I'd never had a manicure (at a salon, that is). I went with a friend for my birthday and I was in awe of the result--my fingers felt so glamorous AND looked great for weeks. I got two more manicures in the months after and took a break because we were busy for ski season and now ... home waiting out the virus for a couple months. So I thought I'd give this gel polish a try, and I am super impressed. First, I was able to get this polish set *and* a 72W UV light (not the Gellen one) for less than I was paying for a single manicure at the salon. Sure, I don't get the full treatment with hand massage and lotion and cuticle oil and (somewhat uncomfortable) cuticle trimming, but with the result of this polish it's definitely still worth it despite "missing out" on those extras.I did one full hand at a time so I wouldn't have to worry about dinging the 'other hand' until finished with the top coat. At first I thought the gel colors were slightly tacky, but they brushed on just fine, not over thick like I feared would happen from first impression. The wear is excellent, even through all the isolation house projects we've worked on so far. It has lasted for me like a salon-applied OPI manicure. The colors are nice in my opinion, but of course what anyone else likes will vary. It's hard to judge from a computer screen what you'll get, but I think the product photos are a fairly good representation of what I received (in the Understated Elegance color set). I don't usually use light colors like the shades of light nude included with this set, but I still feel so fancy typing at the computer with the pinkish nude shade applied. The shine is excellent. The included top coat is no-wipe, so that's handy in this time of limited rubbing alcohol.

Great value, easy to use even for newbies, great colors!
Let me start by saying I am awful at doing my own nails. They always end up streaky and lumpy, with bed sheet imprints in them because somehow they never fully dry. So I’ve forked over $30 every few weeks at the salon to get a gel mani for years. For Christmas this year, my husband bought my a LED gel light (implying I need to stop blowing money through a “thoughtful“ gift). So I ordered this polish set to use with no hopes of it actually looking decent. I am tootin my own horn at how good my nails look! A few tips (maybe everyone already knows this, but I had to learn the hard way), throughout the gel curing process, the polish will seem tacky/sticky. I thought it wasn’t working correctly, but that’s how it’s supposed to be until the top coat is cured and wiped down with rubbing alcohol (supposedly vodka works too). So don’t touch them during the process to see if they’re drying, because you’ll do nothing but cause imprints. I used the LED light for 30 seconds on the base coat, 60 seconds on each of the color coats, and 60 seconds top coat. Try to avoid getting polish near your cuticles or skin at all, that’s how manis go from professional-looking to homely. I would definitely recommend this set, it’s a great value and comes with a top coat, base coat, light grey, white, mauve, dark grey, light pink, and tan-ish colors. Some colors show imperfections more than others, so if you’re like me, start with a shade that is complimentary to your skin tone and then practice until you can do a more bold/contrasting shade. I’m hoping I can do the bright white by summer time! I did my nails yesterday, so not sure how long the gel will last. If that aspect is disappointing, I’ll update my review. Hope this review helps!

Worth the Price
I used the color 315 with the base and top coat. I only used one layer of the color coat and it was so pigmented I didn't need more than one. The base coat didn't seem to dry, it was still tacky after 2 minutes of curing, but it all ended up okay anyway. The top coat had a few chunks in it and is really thick - it has a consistency like honey. I've never had gels done before and this is the first time I've ever used them, so I'm not sure if that is a normal consistency for a top coat (the chunks definitely aren't normal 😂). Overall, the top coat cured very shiny, fast, and beautiful, it was just a bummer with the pieces in it that I had to tweeze out. For the price, I think it's beautiful and worth it. I have only tried one color, though, so keep that in mind when reading my review. I recommend this product.

Gel nail
I love the way it stays on. And easy to do. But was a little disappointed in the lightness of all the shades. I had to put on 2-3 coats just to cover the nail. And some still have light places that I can see nail through it. Maybe I misunderstood just how sheer it is. Overall, I’m still happy with it.

Very opaque
I am new to the gel polish so maybe it's just me. The colors are pretty but very opaque, maybe it's just these particular colors. It's VERY hard to remove. I guess that's a good and a bad thing.

So sleek & easy to use! Saves a lot of money!
I’ve been doing my own gel polish for awhile now & this brand is my favorite! I used to be a serious nail biter and couldn’t afford to pay so much for a professional manicure. With that said, this lasts me about a week because I still chew on my nails often. It does peel off easier than when I would go to the salon. I highly recommend it because it saves me so much money and looks pretty similar to a professional gel painting. The colors in this set specifically are beautiful! I usually follow this process:1. Roughen nail bed2. Apply base coat & place under UV light for 2 min.3. Apply first color coat & place under UV light for 3 min.4. Apply second color coat & place under UV light for 3 min.5. Apply top coat & place under UV light for 3 min.

Great gel polish for the price!
Theses are good! The colours are pretty accurate from the pictures and very pretty. I put 3 coats on my nails and now they are still perfect after 2 weeks. You can also get away with 2 coats for some but they are pretty thin. The top coat is also very shiny with a great finish. Definitely would recommend!

love this gel polish
I have been doing my own nails for a few years now and I have used many different brands (often disappointed) but I love working with these Gellen polishes. I get 2 to 3 weeks wear, colours are very nice and the consistency of the product is perfect. It is very easy to apply 2 to 3 thin coats and it cures very well if you have the right lamp (love my lamp). The price is fair for what you get. I recommend this line of gel nail polish :-)

DOESN’T CURE PROPERLY & DOESN’T COME OFF!!!
The colours are so pretty but ALL of the polished are completely useless - HUGE WASTE OF MONEY!Tried every colour with an LED lamp *AND* a UV lamp several times, and they still won’t cure... I’ve also tried both my flake off remover AND remover pads and this crap won’t come off my nails. So, it’s gel polish that will neither cure, nor remove... you literally can’t wear it AND you can’t take it off.I am NOT impressed!!!

Excellent colors, questionable top coat
First, I washed my hands to get rid of any oils that would cause lifting. Then I lightly buffed the surface of my nails, so the polish could get a better grip.Pros:- The actual colors are lovely and go on really smoothly. Cons:- You need 3 coats of colour for good coverage.- (See pictures) The top coat is horrendous. As soon as I brushed it on, it separated like oil and wouldn't lie smooth.

Only needed 2 coats
I started doing my own nails due to COVID and did not want to pay an outrageous amount of money on supplies. I loved that the set came with a top and base coat! The colours are beautiful and I only needed 2 coats of the colours. I repainted my nails after 2-3 weeks because the growth was bothering me, nothing wrong with the polishes. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a set of neutral colours.
