Can this 36 volt power adaptor be used to add more volume to a desktop audio amplifier the unit has a 24 volt?

Generally, the voltage of the power supply should be the same as the voltage of the device.Plz never use 36V to power 24V device, otherwise itwill be burnt out.We suggest to 24V power supply to power it.

Question 2

I want to connect it to some led lighting.  is it dimmable?

I only tried this due to the fact I have a second one of these adapter right now waiting for a controller module to be delivered before I connect it. That being said, I have only used it on a FUGE led. I haven’t on anything larger. It handle 12% to 100% with no flicker or dips in strength. I haven’t done a electronic metering test or anything if that nature.  Being that the two pumps I use these on have just about the same type of power supply,’I imagine it wouldn’t be an issue, I have no facts to support that if those LED’s you’re trying to run have a 15 or 30 in the model. :) What I will Emphasize like in other questions I’ve answered about this power supply is that mounting this is tricky.. You need to make sure your not going to gain a bunch more heat to the power supply. The more brand specific power supply’s truly have more heat sinks in them but are the same in regards to power and components internally. So basically, it will handle all
powers changes like 0% to 100% without clipping. Every type of light out there I’m no sure of outside a single puck designed LED.. Hope this helps in some way. Speaking for myself,  if the light costs more then $800.00 I might just go with the OEM version.

Sorry,our 36V 4A is a power adapter instead of power charger,we don't suggest to use it as a charger.

Once plug in,the indicator lights up,it's working,however,our power adapter indicator won't change color,it won't indicate if your 36V havebord battery finishing charging.
