So as other reviewers have said, this seems to be a great fan. Installation instructions could be clearer but not the worst I’ve seen. If you use it with a shorter down stem, be prepared to do some wire wizardry as you end up with a bit more wire at the top of it than you’ll know what to do with. Once installed the remote works great. My problems started when trying to connect to the Smartlife app. As this is replacing our main bedroom light I needed it to be easily controllable via Alexa. The enclosed connection instructions are a bit out of date, and there’s no website to refer to for up to date instructions. It simply wouldn’t connect to my WiFi at first (virgins 1gb service) which, by default, runs dual band at both 2.4 GHz and 5Ghz with the same SSID. I had to go into my router settings, turn off channel optimisation, and give each band its own SSID. From there, I repeated the steps to connect to the Smartlife app on the 2.4GHz channel and boom, It connected! Once that worked, Alexa picked it up straight away. One thing to note in Alexa, is that it will register as 2 devices, and not one. The default names it gave mine were “Ceiling fan with light” and just “Light”. So you can create routines for the fan and the light separately as you’d expect.

There are so many fans to choose from, I decided upon this one as it has a simple and contemporary look and the reviews were good albeit there weren't many. I took the risk anyway and i am very pleased with the fan. It produces a nice down draught and spins quietly even on full pelt. The build quality is good for this price point. The light is very bright and could have done with a dimmer setting on the remote but that is my one only negative comment.

This is a lovely ceiling light/ fan. We had an electrician to fit it, he had some difficulties. It looks great and transforms our conservatory. Wouldn't hesitate to have another one.

Great looking product and easy to install, would highly recommend

This was described as an outdoor fan but after contacting the seller it is not IP rated at all. I had already ordered two and it was too late to cancel so it caused a lot of aggravation returning from abroad having to repackage, go to post office, pay for postage and reclaiming postage. I installed one of the two fans indoors. Okay to install. The light and asthetics are good but the fan is not fast enough so does not generate as much cooling breeze as I would like.

Light and fan itself are great but the smart life app and controls through WiFi do not work. Wish I had read other peoples reviews being buying as could have saved myself £100 buying a standard fan/light without the app to run it because this one doesn’t have a working app or WiFi and seems everyone has problems with it

Ottimo ventilatore, installato in poco tempo, funzionamento super silenzioso alle prime velocità altro che quelle pattonate con ventole piccole. Alla massima velocità saltano giù le tende in camera 🤣

Der Ventilator ist schnell angebracht und angeschlossen. Die Verbindung mit der Fernbedienung bzw App klappt einwandfrei. Auch die Verbindung zu Alexa war schnell hergestellt. Schade ist, dass der Ventilator über Alexa lediglich ein und ausgeschaltet werden kann. Weitere Einstellungen wie Geschwindigkeit oder auch Winter und Sommermodus muss über die Fernbedienung geschaltet werden. Das Licht lässt sich getrennt und auch detailliert über Alexa steuern. Alles in allem bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Ventilator und habe bereits den zweiten bestellt.

Ventilateur fonctionne très bien. Hyper silencieux et en plus connecté sur smartphone! Vitesse 1 et 2 sont suffisantes pour notre pièce de 14 m2. Côté installation nous avons renforcé le plafond avec une planche de contreplaqué de 80x80 cm épaisseur 15 mm fixee sur les rails métalliques avec 8 vis. Le ventilateur est fixé sur la planche avec des chevilles à bascule et des Fischer. Ça ne bouge pas. Il y a beaucoup de câbles à loger dans le cache en haut mais en y allant doucement ça rentre. Pensez à bien régler la hauteur des pales avec le plafond: elles doivent être toutes à la même hauteur sinon ça balance (bien expliqué dans la notice). Les documents fournis sont très bien faits: bien tout lire notamment le réglage des pales. Hélas pas en français il faut maîtriser la langue de Shakespeare ou utiliser Google translate. Laissez le ventilateur tourner 8 heures après installation et réglage il va s’équilibrer. La connexion wifi est simple: téléchargez l’appli Smart Life puis choisissez Ventilateur (wifi) dans la section petits électroménagers. Ensuite appuyez sur la touche 8h sur la télécommande et restez appuyer jusqu’à ce que le ventilateur bippe régulièrement. Lancer l’appairage sur l’application. Pas encore testé si le ventilateur est pilotable depuis l’extérieur du domicile. MAJ Aout 2024: il est pilotage depuis l'extérieur du domicile grâce à l'application. On peut même l'automatiser en fonction de la température. par contre j'ai perdu la notice et je ne sais plus comment le régler. Si quelqu'un peut indiquer un site où télécharger le manuel.

Ottimo prodotto, il costo è giusto, non difficile da montare basta sapere un po’ di inglese, molto bello esteticamente è molto funzionale, ottimo con Alexa, la domotica va perfettamente ne ho ordinato un altro da mettere in camera. Prodotto veramente valido, sconsiglio di utilizzare i tasselli nella confezione e di prendere dei tasselli del 8 validi anche a espansione. E mi raccomando prendete bene le misure dei fori perché ricordate le parte in gomma che va a soffitto dopo alla fine deve combaciare con un coperchio e se sbagliate esce fuori e viene male esteticamente basta davvero poco

Esteticamente è molto carino e poco invadente nella stanza. Montaggio facile senza particolari complicazioni, Silenzioso e funziona apparentemente bene. Sarò più preciso quando arriverà il caldo. Una nota negativa, collegandolo all'interruttore esistente, l'accensione della luce ritarda di un paio di secondi, e il telecomando è poco reattivo
