Can you fit it to the side of a high top transit custom

Hi, it can be fitted to any flat surface using some self tapping screws, rivets or an adhesive such as sikaflex.

Will this fit in the gutter on the roof of my vw t5 (where the holes/bolts are for a roof rail) ?

They will but you have to drill holes very near the edge of rail for the head of the bolts to fit down . I stuck mine along with bolts

Could you please recommend a type or brand of glue to use to stick it to my van. Thanks

In my opinion glue alone wouldnt hold the awning to the van, let alone during a windy day. I used a 2mm hss drill bit to drill holes into my roof. I treated the holes with rust protector Screwed the rail to the van with tiny self-tapers It has been 100% secure for 3 years now, with no worries of it ever ripping loose at 2am during a storm...

Mounts under pop top on camper

Used in conjunction with skyline aurora pop top on my VW transporter. Cut to fit, Used sikaflex to stick into the gutter on the van and it’s perfect for my drive away awning. Really strong, great quality. Nice to have an awning rail that isn’t stuck to the side of the van, also require no drilling! Perfect! Installed in and hour 😎
