No. RCA or Aux jack Coax or Toslink out. I am using 3 of these units. They work great!

Any USB style cell phone charger will work. I use the charging block from my old iPhone.

If you already have your analog inputs occupied to your e3100, you could certainly use this converter to connect an additional stereo audio source to the unit. Be advised, it will only be 2 channel audio...because that is what your source audio is. Remember, garbage in, garbage out.
