I wear it at work (loud warehouse) and can hear the music or podcast just fine as well as people around me better then i could with earbuds. Only minor issues are the quality for music isn't amazing, but for the price and given what it is, cant really fault it. And if your planning on wearing for a long time (8 hours shift) you'll likely need to take it off and give your ears a break at some point as the speakers become uncomfortable

The sound quality is good and the built in microphone works well. The thing I like is the hat does not block out other sounds, so is much safer than ear buds when used out and about. To get the speakers in the best position, you do have to pull the hat a fair way down on your head. Battery life is better than 8 hours when used at a reasonable volume.
