Nintendo Game Boy Advance - Fuchsia (Renewed) [video game]

My kid has been using it a ton since he got it in March and he loves it. The screen doesn't have it's own light but we knew that going in. He usually just sits with a headlamp/bright light over his shoulder

The Product Works Great. But I Can See A Light Screen Burn In Some Cases... I Can See Easily The Screen Under Sun, And The Speaker Sounds Good But It Isn't Loud In GBA Games Like Super Mario Advance. Never had a GBA until now. I heard the horror stories of how terrible the screens on the original models were, so when it arrived and saw how bad the screen was I thought it was normal and moved on. I only found out recently that it's actually not supposed to be THIS BAD. Everything else about the device works just fine though. Buttons are responsive, games work... even the headphone jack and the Nintendo GameCube link cable functionality works just fine. Screen is inexcusable though.

Bought for my grandson for Christmas. The console works great. However, since it is a retired console - games were a little hard for him to find to play on it. Still - a good buy and he is enjoying it.

Advertised as refurbished, cleaned, and fully functional, but it still had some grime inside the casing, an extremely quiet speaker even for a gba, and the led power indicator flashing between green and red constantly even with fresh batteries indicating there is probably some bits of debris in the power switch.

Exactly how i remembered my childhood Gameboy being. Sound works very well and the brightness is low but at the right angle of lighting it works just fine *I remember never being able to play in a dark setting and it’s just the same* would’ve given it 5 stars but once in a while I can’t turn on the Gameboy without moving the batteries a bit they seem to pop out on their own, nothing major or noticeable just very minor pushing onto the back and it works and does not turn off on you during gameplay which is AMAZING! Was a bit concerned to buy refurbished but it works very well and I’ve had it for a few months now

Great condition, works amazing. Had it for a month now and still running strong Edit it’s Nov 22, 2025 and I got this in February 2025. It still works and has traveled with me everywhere

These are the real deal! Yes, the screen is dim, but they all were back then haha. Plays and looks AMAZING. Would def recommend.

No back-light so you have to play it in a well lit room but I am happy with it all the same

A waste of time and my son was looking forward for this item. It's a scam.
