Exellent study of Chinese Sufism
Wonderful study of this little known corner of the Islamic world. First the author covers the history of Islam in china and the development of a Chinsese/Islamic identity that was completely unique both to Islam and to the Chinese world around them.Secondly a study of Chinese Sufi text and translation. A wonderful work which examines how Islam was understood by Chinese Muslims and how it was practiced.

Very interesting Liu Chih's perspective on changes.
Well, just read articles on how Liu Chih interpreted structure of changes into Islamic perspectives. Liu Chih did many adaptations in order to adapt it into sufi's world. Very interesting articles which actually parts of this book and confirmed with neo-confucian's ideas of Liu Chih's time. Quite enlightening although just read parts of this book. I recommended this book to everyone who want to deepen their understanding on this "change" subject. Though, four stars is the highest of my scales since there are no one who are really capable to cover the whole civilization, from beginning to contemporary. Peace.
